It's a paint drying contest so far

Now this Aussie LB Behich, i know fck all about him and no idea who he plays for.

Up to now 21 minutes i've been watching his every move, his positional sense, and whether he likes to get forward, just out of interest i ask you to watch him, forget the play and where the ball is, but just track him all you can when he's in view of the camera, he's look pretty good up to now.

Like i said, this has probably just given him the kiss of death (disclaimer)
Had looked OK tbf I agree

But he is nearly 32 and plays for Dundee.

Like i was saying, the kiss of death.

Jesus Messi's something else, you see it and he does it.

There's a 100 greatest goals video on Sky sports somewhere of Messi, i recommend anybody to watch it and drool, he actually does the best possible thing to do virtually every single time on it, if there's only a 1 metre section of the goal to slip it in he finds it.

:) Great exchange of passes and then Messi says get the f**k out of the way and passes it through the defenders legs into the net.
Mind you he’s still not as good as Pele or Maradona

Yeah i just googled it myself, but the point i'm trying to make Cjay is, he's probably 10 times better than Firpo, and the fact this is what our prick should be doing, trying to unearth a real gem, scout him proper, watch his every move then track him and watch him again and again, but our clown has no footbll brain and wouldn't have a fcking scoobie about what to watch for.

I'm currently following his every move, his positioning along the back line, his passing ability etc etc etc

100 pages on this World Cup thread.

Must be your second-longest thread after the Jesse Marsch topic, Cjay

Annoying that they give that all to Messi on the BBC. When you watch the exchange of passing it’s really not just him. Superb goal

It's his speed of thought Jay and the skill to pull it off, i saw that the only thing to do there was to strike towards that area of the goal, and i'm just watching and seeing that, he's on the move, head down, playing, but still has the presence of thought and speed of execution to actually do it.

Sheer genius, virtually ALL of his touches are just simply the best thing to do with the ball at that time, whether it's a pass or whatever.

So we have a left back here playing for Australia, that plays footy for Dundee in Scotland, and i reckon he's better than our 13m loose cannon.
