Is very sick.

What a shame.

Never heard of the thing she has but sounds awful.

Seems she is well enough to perform at the opening ceremony at the Olympics.

Good news which should cheer Jay 2 up

Been in the news a lot up here in Canada of course. I believe the docume tary on Amazon on her struggle with this is pretty good.

I saw her in Vegas a few years ago. Got tickets on the sly via a niece who lives there. Actually thought we were going to see Rod Stewart?? But good show anyway.

Hope her vocals can do it for her.....that she can get her voice to go where she wants it to be. Very brave of her to want to perform at the Olympic opening ceremony watched by millions. You go girl.

She is quite the lady. Very strong character. Her husband who she lost a few years ago was equally strong
They were quite the power couple here in Canada - especially in Quebec.

A blessing in disguise.

Rod Stewart's voice has long since deserted him.

I hope so also.

Brave lady, heck of a voice in her prime.

Still did have only a few years ago, hope she can perform how she wants for her sake.

Apparently performing with Lady Gaga whose more than capable herself in the live singing department.

So may be a case of Lady Gaga doing the heavy lifting vocally so to speak.

But if Celine can still perform at all then all credit to her.

It was a great show cjay. She is a powerful performer.
When she was first diagnosed with this disease she swore she would find a way to sing again - maybe this Olympics opportunity has given her the motivation of late. Hope it does happen.

Watched " I am Celine Dion" yesterday, awful decease of the muscles.
If she was to play a gig in Eire, would she become Celine Dion Dublin :duno:

That passionate emotional singing blew Lady Gaga literally out of the water.

It was all the more superb when you consider how she overcome her neurological condition, it was a triumph of her spirit over adversity.

The lady was elegant and exuded class while most of the other acts in the opening ceremony were crass.
