I'll say the narrow 10 as Jesse essentially plays two inverted 10 and one in the middle.

As Ian says we have players who can play the 10 role.

I do agree we need better at 10, but for now it will do imo.

But a striker is a must.

If Rodders stops scoring he will provide absolute nothing.

He can't hold the ball up, he can't run in behind and stretch play, he can't link play, he doesn't press well.

He is doing well goalscoring wise but his career shows he isn't a goalscorer and it could easily stop.

So imo we do need someone who can provide something else.

Someone who can do all those things Rodders can't.

Had hoped we would have have deal close by now ready for Villa but not looking likely.
