Let's hope so, all very tepid from our young side.

You'd think that excludes Drameh, Perkins, Joseph, Hjelde on Sunday

Apparently Marsch said Drameh will be involved v Cardiff

Two one on one opportunities missed from Joseph & Perkins after some lovely play.

Drameh, Perkins & Joseph off.

Much improved from Leeds in this half, hopefully the three subs doesn't have detrimental a effect on the end result

Perkins, Joseph and Drameh subbed on 65 minutes. Probably puts them on the bench on Sunday

Hjelde not subbed. Wober signing has pushed him down the order. Wonder if he'll go out on loan now

Forest score from a set-piece after giving away a needless free-kick.

First defeat of the season, long lay off will have been a leveller plus we don't do well the week a cup game comes after a 21's game ....

Re: Leeds Utd U21's play West Brom - TONIGHT!!!!!!

Post by 1964white »

Monday night Premier League 2 action.

Leeds United Under-21s are in Premier League 2 Division 2 action on Monday evening, taking on West Bromwich Albion Under-21s in another well-contested match.

The fixture will be played at the City of York Council’s LNER Community Stadium and will get underway at 7pm. Fans are able to attend the match, with ticket information at the bottom of the page.

The Whites come into the game looking to bounce back from their first defeat of the season, away at Nottingham Forest Under-21s last time out. The hosts got a late winner at Meadow Lane to inflict a first loss of the campaign for Michael Skubala’s side.

With Southampton having played more matches, Leeds have been knocked off top-spot [on goals scored] for the first time since the season began, but can reclaim the lead with a point or more from Monday’s match.

The Baggies also have games in hand and will be looking to move back up the table. They have only played nine games up to now, meaning they’ve dropped to fifth in the standings, after not playing a competitive match since November 7th.

WBA’s last game was also a defeat to Nottingham Forest, with a heavy 5-1 scoreline going against them. A win on Monday would see movement back up the table into fourth, with further games in hand on others around them to get higher.

The top two scorers in the division will go head to head in this one. Mateo Joseph - who has impressed throughout the campaign - could come up against the equally as impressive Reyes Cleary. Both players have netted 11 times up to now!

Lovely Perkins header, disallowed just before half-time, looked a tight offside.

Our first clear-cut chance on the hour mark as Joseph misses a glorious one on one opportunity :(

McFadden on for Perkins.
