My feeling is that this is probably similar to how plenty expected him to be sacked prior to the Liverpool win. Likely a shortlist drawn up then but they didn't rush as they saw no point getting a new coach in with the Liverpool match being an expected defeat. We then beat them and Bournemouth which kicked the can down the road as they couldn't then sack him. Maybe someone we had at the top of a shortlist then has been appointed elsewhere since then.

They are probably hoping lightning strikes twice.

I always thought the thing about Marsch talking to Leeds while they had a manager in place was a real no no. But doubt Bielsa will take any pleasure that Marsch may have now suffered the same fate.
