We are not in a position to keep buying for the future when the here and now is so precarious. 70 million is money we can I’ll afford to buy benchers.
Nearly every other team who made significant January additions used them in their starting 11 - take Tete for example at Leicester. He was their motm.
Clubs whom have a managerial team who know what they are doing & what is expected at Premier League level.

It's been a battle between Radrizanni and the 49s as to who cops the financial jeopardy of relegation. Likelihood is Radz has now accepted a lower price for the club, but one which still guarantees him a huge return even if we go down. From that point on, there is no incentive for him to put more money into the club.

It's still not clear whose ultimate decision changing manager would be. Technically it's Radz as the majority shareholder, but as said above, he has no incentive for further outlay on a new manager. We must assume the 49s are doing what they can to protect the value of their investment in the club, firstly with the January signings, and now, hopefully, with a good managerial appointment. You can see why any negotiations with a potential new manager might be convoluted though.

As said previously, a lack of a clear decision making structure based on sound footballing principles, just money men scrabbling for the biggest share of the pie before it passes its sell-by date. And Orta getting to play football manager with other people's money.
We have been in the hands of the clown since he arrived at the club, the simple fact is, he got unbelievably lucky going for Bert, Bert that i believe was Cellinos idea.

He used his smooth patter to get Bert to come, and that is it in a nutshell.

ALL the rest is down to Bert getting garbage players to play as a team, and all that whilst continually being hindered and weighed down by Orta's additions and interference, take away Bert and fck knows where we'd be, that's it, end of.

No Bert - no promotion.

Orta has been running the football side of things coz Radz does the money, Just imagine Berts frustrations dealing with this clown after he arrived thinking he talks a good job, only to find out he doesn't know his arse from his fcking elbow.

Anonymous wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 1:59 pm They deserve some credit for keeping Bert here for three years, but probably couldn't cope with the level of control he demanded.

Without that level of insight into all aspects of how to manage the club, though, we've regressed to the same level of incompetence we saw before Bert arrived.
We are in exactly that position Sara.

I will struggle to give them that credit, i give Orta credit if he talked Bert in accepting the challenge of us in the Championship, he must've sold him the moon, and that's that, if i wanted to keep Orta at all, it would be to find a really good BHA scout like scout, and let Orta go and talk to them, to use his speel to talk player 'x' into coming, and that's all, he obviously has the gift of the gab, but as for having football eyes he is blind as a bat and gets lucky now and again.

Bert wants total control of all player related things, he might've had some minor faults in excessiveness, but fck me it should be laid out to a player before arrival that they are gonna get worked over and worked over some more till they ache, and if they don't like it then don't bother coming coz you won't fit in with his regime, Bert is old school with a master footballing brain and if any youngster wants to make the top grade if he feels he has what it takes then fcking listen to him, i wish i could've worked under him.

You're gonna graft your tits off and earn every single penny of your salary, but fck me if you're good enough he'll turn you into an international.

We are in a potential death spiral again, Jesse has shown and told us he doesn't know what to do.

I'll put my cards on the table.

We will get strongly linked with Corberan, Hasenhuttl and Bielsa, but the new Manager will be Steven Gerrard.

You heard it here FIRST...

Jesse and back room staff have gone. Who is available with a back room staff who knows the premier league.

Kenny has his rosary wrapped around his hands I suspect.

That’s shocking if that happens. A really awful appointment. Him or Lampard would be so so bad I’d cry
