Once I log in and try to open a new topic I see an advertisement.

Thought these had been removed for contributers.

This is Adams department Ian, I will bring it up in the mod forum as I suspect he reads that before this one..

Its happening to me as well Ian. The small ad across the top of the page is now full page when I change topic. A tad annoying....

Where does the ad money go ? Can we have free tickets from time to time ?

If you don't ask.....you don't...
Not dependent on Google, the www or 'stats' - Just a guy that puts his eyes to full use on the beautiful game :geek:

Google ads is set to run ‘experiments’ which means sometimes new ads types are enabled and the views/clicks compared.

Seems this particular type avoids the code I put in lace to disable for contributors. I’ll look into it.

To pay the site running costs; domains, hosting, software etc.

We have given away tickets in the past.

Me too seeing ads when opening a topic never ever use to happen most annoying
