You see it flies totally over the likes of you, you just don't get 'it'

They have been top of the league all season, you claim to know good football but can't see 'it' when it slaps you in the face, that's why you wanted him sacked because you never really understood what he was about or his plan, anyway, you got what you wished for and look at us now.

Enjoy, your like seem to get more of a buzz scrapping about against shyte teams and staring relegation in the face all the time.

I'd ask you to see the bigger picture to Arsenals game, but i don't think you lot are capable.

JoeDenver wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 1:03 am I honestly think that Arteta would rate Wober over Cooper for his system, though. I’d chalk up his two poor giveaways to getting adjusted to his new team and the EPL (and these games are against scUM, no less…quite a baptism by fire, no?). I just think Wober merits a little more time. Keep in mind that he is capable of playing LB as well as DM, a position requiring much more passing acumen, and a position that no one would dare put Cooper in. And Cooper has definitely had his howler giveaways…

Agree with Ayling > Rasmus. And can’t do anything about Dallas at the moment. Would love to have him back so we don’t have to see Firpo so much.

Also agree that it would be nice to have a more possession oriented coach in the fold.

My two cents
Joe i'm prepared to say even at this early stage that Wober is a defender and not a footballing defender, i don't think he'd get anywhere near a Arsenal, Citeh first team, neither would Cooper for that matter, but he'd have more of a chance, they'd just buy better than Cooper.

And neither would Cresswell, Llorente, Koch, Douglas, Firpo, Rasmus.

You getting my drift.

Yip, they just don't understand that though,

I think slowly now they're seeing how the game is changing and how we're struggling they just might start to understand, pity it takes sooooooo long for them innit.

Just watch the penny start to drop, it's gonna be painful for them.

Hey, Liverpool are just about to start getting some of their 'key' players back, i wonder if it helps their 'team' perform better  :duno: .....Durrrrrrrr :roflmao: .....you know like through the spine of the 'team' the spine that holds all together, the spine like Van Dyck, Firmino and A N Other midfielder, let's see huh, thick fckers.

Oh crikey Kenny don't waste your time mate. I made the point so many times about how poor Liverpool were in the season when Van Dijk was out when they wobbled around 6th before a late run, when Van Dijk was fit again, saw them qualify for a champions league spot. I pointed out how losing just 1 main player made Liverpool so much poorer and compared it to why we were so poor when we had half of the team out. All I got in response was 'Yeah but they weren't in a relegation place."

It would be funny if it wasn't true.

Agreed on all the others being below average EPL to average Championship defenders (there is a spectrum as Koch is at the higher end with Cresswell at the lower)

But I wouldn’t be shocked if Wober is subsequently sold to a club in the 4-7 positions of the table if we remain stagnant or get relegated. I rate him that highly. Again, I just think he needs a few more games under his belt. Time will tell, I suppose…

Barcelona 2-2 Manure

10 mins left.

Good game.

Goal and an assist for Raph

People comparing Gnonto to Raph clearly forgotten how good he is.

Long way to go before Willy is Raph level

Totally different player, Willy hasn't got the skill that Raph has and i don't think he ever will have, in fact he won't.

At 18 i like to think he can only get better, but he'll never be in that skill bracket, someone needs to spot what his talent is and work with him on it, and not someone like Orta.

Welcome :)

Though that comment takes the biscuit
