Impressed with Joseph today, watched the game with Chelsea fans and they thought Chelsea weren't great but did say that defensively they've been strong and that's getting close to what they do best now. So no real surprise that we struggled to create though we had a couple of shots on goal at least and 2/3 times the ball just didn't want to fall to us in the box. They got bailed out by a stunning inch perfect cross... But they were unlucky with the shot against ther bar ...or were they?

If we are relying on Bamford to score the goals to keep us up it won't happen.

If others chip in and let him do what he did today well it may.

Linked play very well

Held the ball up when he could.

Best game for a long time.

Well that's wrong as he has 2 goals in the premier league.

It was a good goal, but it took quite a deflection which lifted it over the keeper.

Fair play though, he bought a ticket and won the raffle. I have absolutely no problem whatsoever of players taking a chance with shots at goal, even if they miss. It infuriates me when the shot is on and the players don’t even have a pop.

It is hard to know whether it would have gone in without the deflection. It looked like he was aiming for the corner, and it certainly appeared to be on target, and may well have scored if it hadn't have got the deflection but it is virtually impossible to know for sure as to whether the keeper would have saved it.

Swings and roundabouts. If they hit the shot and it is a poor one then you'll be saying, "Why was he shooting from there?" especially if there is a better opportunity with a pass to someone else. What we struggle with is that final pass, the pass often being the right option but just poorly executed - an example being McKennie to Summerville the other week and if the pass found Summerville better, or he anticipated where it was going then it was a great chance for him and arguably a lot better a chance than McKennie shooting from 20 yards.

Nketiah is an excellent striker, Jesus is pretty good too.. Of course xG is a very arbitrary stat, almost as bad as pass completion

Summerville came in for a lot of criticism when he went for goal rather than try the tricky pass to Harrison...

It was, I remember McKennie with one chance in particular to have a pop at goal.

Yeah, it was generous of Bamford to contribute a goal in return for the £3.6m the club pay him. Let's hope he carries on being as generous to the club and the fans...

He scored and a cracker it was, obviously not match fit, good goal but the deflection made it, otherwise the keeper would have had it, not knocking him at all for the goal, about bleeding time isn't it.

Paddy is not back

2 goals last season and 2 so far this season, and still all people talk about is his pressing.

When I was 27 I could have run all day and pressed the keeper and CBs etc.

Forest

Good
7 hold up play
5 decent passes
3 runs
2 interceptions
1 good lay-off
1 header
1 block
1 shot off target

Bad
3 passes

The rough stuff
9 x fouled (not the best protection from the ref), Felipe fortunate to stay on the pitch

Dorigo comment
Paddy has worked his socks off for the team, coming off to a rousing applause & rightly so!
