It would be a boring board if we all thought the same.
You are doing some fine research work on a daily basis creating excellent debate, Matt  not an easy task by any means.

Then a bloke came along and chopped them down with an axe.

I added the last line.

Look I value what you do. I read it most days.

But surely your role is to raise the subject and ask for views?
You dont need to make click bait claims, nor do you need to misrepresent other Leeds peoples views. Cant you see that?
That way you can leave the unsubstantiated claims to the rest of us.

I'm talking about his anaerobic pace. Short sprints and change of pace - of which he is slow.

WhiteRose wrote: Fri Mar 31, 2023 6:25 pm Was reading the minutes from the latest supporters meeting and we won’t be getting a new stadium anytime soon. AK said because of our league performance last 2 years it’s basically on hold, could be the same for the next 2-3 years - never going to be a perfect time. And they don’t improve the existing ground because they will knock it down one day - could be 20 years at this rate.

Also said to redevelop west stand they would need a year for finance, then a year to build the top tier over the existing stand, then a further year to build the bottom tier - I get they want to keep the attendance up but if they knock the stand down and do it all in a year they could have far greater attendance the year after and would surely be more cost effective.
From memory, (so please don't quote me) I remember Hay saying the club want to be turning over £200m a year, before investing in a new stadium. He said that quite recently, so maybe also applies to the 49ers who are expected to take over once Leeds are guaranteed top flight football next season.

If Leeds can't attract top talent, they won't rise up the table, which will impact better salaries, European football, and better International prospects - therefore affecting the players 8-).
Credit for all you do EB, it's not like you're getting paid for it. Some folk need to lighten up and get off the pedestal.

I want people to react, but I certainly don't want posters or anyone who reads the BD to feel articles are manipulated or misrepresented in any way whatsoever. It's very much an open debate where people can join in, agree or disagree. Those who disagree make it a better read for everyone else.

But surely your role is to raise the subject and ask for views?

Why do you think that there is not a newspaper that only reports on good news? The reason is, nobody would buy it! For instance, if I wrote an article about what a fine job Willy Gnonto has done since coming to ER, there would be very little traffic, as everyone shares the same opinion. The BD meant to spark debate, where at least two or the three articles will have at least a 70%-30% divide. To the best of my knowledge, I don't think I've misrepresented, but obviously you're entitled to your opinion, and I'll take it on board.

If I sometimes stir the pot a little, it's to get a reaction, not that I would deliberately twist an article to mislead. To the best of my knowledge, there's nothing that I have said that's untrue

Absolutely, though the subject matter has to have

Actually I think he has that. We'd need a 3 cone though to know either way for sure

You just damn well carry on with these excellent daily brekkies, i for one look forward to them.

I like to think they're a good mixture of the Rags and the broadsheets ;-)

There's already enough boring fckers on this forum without being able to have our morning rant ffs.

If Orta hadn't bought the shite that is Llorente we wouldn't be having this argument, so let's keep that dickhead too :roflmao:

Has he gone yet ?
Still being proven right years on.

Orta is a fraud - and knows nowt about footballers.

I'd like to see Everton, Wolves and Palace go, but expect it'll be Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth.

The Llorente contract extension is a baffling one to me? He's been awful for a long time now. So why you would reward mediocrity I don't know?

Hopefully we can stay up. If we can then I'd tie Gracia down to a long term deal

Our squad desperately needs a good raking and has done for a few years now. For me, Ayling, Llorente, Cooper, Firpo, Forshaw, Roberts, James, Dallas and Bamford can all pack their bags.

Koch will have options whether we stay up or not. I can't see him and a few others hanging around just to hope we stay up each season. It's damaging to their careers.

I'm hoping the 49ers take over and ditch our dross, as they've been hanging around way too long.

Btw Matt, you're doing a great job, don't listen to the moaners.

I think you are Victor. I think you come on here and constantly berate the 'monkey with a pin,' so that other people leap to his defence. Very cunning indeed Kenny. If further proof is needed count the letters in Kennyb - 6 letters, the same amount of letters as in Victor. Why else would you have put b after Kenny if not to get to 6 letters?
Gracia? Thanks for nothing.
