Bielsaball to hoofball.

This will end well.

That's it.
Every time City get near our goal, just toe punt it back down the other end....

That tactic relies on us having the ball to give back to them in the first place. How did we beat them under Bielsa. Wasn’t toe punting it upfield was it

Iirc our tactic was to allow them to keep on missing sitters, then get lucky twice on the break.

We also convinced them to rest KDB ahead of their euro game.

Unfortunately they have a cyborg instead of Raheem Sterling playing for them now..

You have to laugh.

Because if you think too much about it, it's thoroughly depressing.

He won't keep us up. And he's no genius. We might stay up because 3 other clubs are worse.

That’s fair but I seem to remember some heroic defending. Also you have to take your chances and we did. Dallas lives long in the memory. Oh and with 10 men. Don’t have that fight in us anymore

Big Sam - any port in a storm.

At least the bench will be strengthened, just in case Sam sits on it.

Weasel has made the argument for the style of Sam well elsewhere.

I don't think it will work I really don't.

His WBA side broke literal records for lack of possession, long passes etc.

Gracia has tried this sit back and hoof stuff.

Our defenders can't concentrate long enough, our midfielders don't cover well enough, our strikers can't hold the ball up, link play or finish well enough the limited chances we will get.

I just don't see how it works.

Never thought I'd see Sam Allardyce here.

It's like the devil's last joke before he'll.

But we had to do something, atleast the man most responsible for this utter joke has gone.

And as ridiculous as it sounds he is actually far more proven than Gracia and Marsch.

Much much more.

So who knows

And as a bloke I quite like him

Got to be worth a last throw of the dice. At least Big Sam will give them a well deserved rocket! Not sure what tactics he will employ to get the best out of this lot, but I agree we are certainly better attacking than defending, so I hope we go for it in these games. If we do go ahead in games we always concede shortly afterwards anyway, so all out attack for me.

So when they get near our box, we'll just hoof it clear. Beats trying to do Cruyff turns or Roca doing a pirouette and then giving the ball away.

He's not wrong.

Coops hoofing, Bamford winning flicks on, for Willy to run through and score.

True. I hope he uses Rutter. You never know, a bit of belief and confidence, and he could be an asset.
