Would imagine if he wanted to leave and we could convince him To come to us then given his legendary status at Leipzig they wouldn't be to obstructive.

Out of contact next summer to.

But just speculation atm isn't it.

Would be nice to see some incoming this week

Rumours now increasing that Ryan Manning the left back named as a target by Phil is currently at Southampton training ground.

A decent freebie we have probably missed out on.

Leicester & the Saints ahead of us, all due to the fiasco Radz left us in.

Burnley now pushing for Gustavo Hamer according to the reliable Mike McGrath.

Enthusiasm and hope for new season fading with every day

We kick off in 27 days with 3 friendlies lined up.

Cardiff have played 3 already with 4 more lined up and 3 new players to our 0.

Seemed a decent target

But organisation seems 0 and I don't think the efl are entirely to blame.

If you can announce managers and sell players you can make signings

Think the 49ers were appallingly organised tbh as evidence by letting Kinnear still run the club.

The non-approval to our ownership is probably the reason for no incomings, :( weird as there has been a few outgoings.

Several clubs have played three already.

Why wasn't Kinnear & co not planning any friendlies a month ago?

Pre-season is so important to a team's success.

I may have to change my expectations for the coming season if there are no transfers in over the next couple of weeks.

I blame the level of ignorance around English football from the 49er's. No excuse for it - they've been part owners for 5 years. To me it just shows they're a financial organization, with our chairman really being an NFL fan.
When your boss is somewhat ignorant about your operations, you spend a lot of your time educating him. Time, in this case, that should have been spent preparing for the new season.
I've said it before - they need to put up the money to support their investment then get the hell out of the way. But its more likely they will feel they can teach everyone at Leeds how things should be done.

Apparently looking to sign Nat Phillips from Liverpool.

Would be a good signing if we secure that.

This coming season is only going to be about stabilizing the ship. Talk of going straight back up is miles away unless we make some good late signings and they gel quickly. Even then its going to take a good few weeks until we get fully into gear. Decent first season back in the Championship then have a proper go at it the following season.

They'd sack Farke if he doesn't get us up.

We know that's the only reason he is here, because he has two promotions.

Don't imagine for 1 second the 49ers are looking to stabilise, they need promotion for there investors.

But we need plenty of signings as you say

Click bait is linking us with Rangers’ 27 yo Glen Kamara said to be wanting away with 2 years left on his contract. I watch Rangers a lot and at 4-5mill he could do a good job for us as the experienced head to help our kids along.

He’s prone to the odd inconsistency (who isn’t?) and will no doubt become a target for some of our less optimistic posters but overall I’d say at that price he’s good value. He’s got a good creative pass in him as well.

Me say yes.

Pity at that looks like Mes is on the way out.
