Maybe the transfer gossip media have confused Ashley Young as Willy Gnonto

Luton Towns first home game has been postponed due to the ground not meeting PL standards with essential works not being completed. The PL supporting the club through this difficult period. I wonder what fate Leeds would have suffered in similar circumstances. or am I being paranoid?

No, tha's not being paranoid at all pal, if the ground idn't up to PL staus then, why on earth are they allowed in !!Orange Box wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 8:24 pm Luton Towns first home game has been postponed due to the ground not meeting PL standards with essential works not being completed. Surely there is a set criteria like in rugby league, Halifax were denied this whilst doing the shay up and they developed broncos just to spread the game, if Lutons ground isn't fit for PL purpose they shouldn't be allowed entry.

Re: Premiership debate
Arsenal have completed the signing of Netherlands defender Jurrien Timber from Ajax for £34m.
Timber's fee could rise to £38.5m and the 22-year-old joins on a long-term deal.
He will further bolster Arsenal's defence after centre-back William Saliba agreed a new four-year contract.

Kinhell he's good Arteta, knows exactly what he wants.
I want them to win it this year, coz Arteta gets 'it'
And he does 'it' well.
Have they signed a striker yet, that's the only other cover they need, and he should concentrate on the League and not yet the Champions league.

PB would be good for him, when not crocked and Bertfit.
As backup of course, but could play a good role around those players with Arteta managing.
Might even get back into the England squad, he'd definitely be able to give Jesus a rest against the minnows, and he might surprise against the big guns.

Very expensive, of course, but absolutely quality player.
Not sure he’ll make up the shortfall from 2nd spot to Champions, but can’t fault their ambition that is for sure.

Timber. Great name. Endless puns and a fans song favourite.
Who was that bloke who used to take the piss out of all the famous people. Denis Penis. He said to Hugh Grant “do you study trees” “no why do you ask” “because your acting is so f**king wooden”.

Yeah was great him, pronounced Dennis Penniss, got banned from all events in Hollywood etc coz they couldn't handle his humour.
Would definitely offend some of the soft twats here, best not to go there.
I bet Pauls never heard of him, they used to blank him out, he really hit a nerve by going for the bone type of questions
He was an highlight on a Ch4 show that i've forgot the name of, i'm sure Ali G started there.
