that remains to be seen fella and of what quality , we are a couple of weeks off, before the season starts and we are a country mile off what we need numbers wise alone .
This season is already a shambles by the looks of it...

I agree, we are looking threadbare right now, hopefully our squad will seem much better come the end of August.
The takeover came far too late, unfortunately.

No one - Absolutely no one has the superb analyst Kennyb on their imaginary foes list, not even that Oer.Victor_Notts-17 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 24, 2023 10:06 am One thing I have learnt on this forum is to ignore the people I don't like. The easiest way to do that is stick them on your 'Foes' list (then you no longer see their 5h1te). I have one person on my foes list (and surprisingly to some: it's not Kenny)This place can be a painful experience sometimes: it's why I occasionally log out and disappear for a week or two...
It's a well known fact that when people say that they do , it's a cast iron 100% guarantee they don't.

I'm happier that Farke appears to have a say in signings and rightly so, thank the lord that c**k orta has been sacked, 6 yrs too late like but he aint coming back.
At least Farke laked the game before he became coach / manager unlike orta who just mouthed his way into football.
For those that didn't know, Daniel Farke was a striker and once said of himself:
Farke said that he "knew how to score" but was probably "the slowest striker in the whole of Western Europe"

Not a shambles, this is what happens when you get relegated. The players who are gone, are the ones I was expecting to leave. Surprised Harrison and Meslier are still here atm though.
Sorry if you thought it'd be easy, or we'd spend £100m, but that was never going to happen.

There was no need for that to be written was there? And absolutely no need to make it personal! Boring...

Tbf this isn't normal at all.SG90 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 24, 2023 4:29 pm Not a shambles, this is what happens when you get relegated. The players who are gone, are the ones I was expecting to leave. Surprised Harrison and Meslier are still here atm though.

Loaning out players you paid over £100mil for with only £3mil received in transfer fees isn't normal.
Don't think anyone should pretend this is normal? It's unheard of.

Well I did say no one would want them.... At least they're off the wage bill for now, but we still have Bamford, Harrison, Firpo, Meslier, Costa and James on big wages.

Good God people, we havent yet even seen whoever our 1st team will be on the pitch at the same time.
Isn't it a little early to be writing off the next 40 odd games just because we don't have our s**t together yet (which btw was predictable given EVERYTHING has changed in the past 3 months).
Jeez. Chill

Not sure I feel like chilling, but I do agree with main sentiments that this is a rebuild
it will take all of August, then see how how our nessecary U21's bed into 1st time life, and if still gaping holes in Jan we fill them then.
I'd be sorry to see Joffy go, he's got some bite that I think would really help in the championship. I also think we need to stop depending on Bamford due to fitness. If we could depend on him for 90% of games at full fitness then great, play him every week. The reality from the past two seasons is more like 35% which you absolutely can't build a team around.
This is the time when Farke (and his team) need to coach and show their worth. We went from the best coach (Bielsa) to someone who just did speaking (not coaching).
Whatever happens, this is not going to be dull. Never is here.

Its a shitstorm but at least we have a manager with an attacking style of play , i will be patient and hope some of the kids come good and we can pick up the odd bargain here and there. The last two mangers bored me to tears and the one before that was a fecking idiot. Whatever happens i would like to be entertained on match days please.
Bielsa made me believe in lufc again he brought me back in.

Your'e not wrong regarding the last 3 imbeciles in the hot seat, although marsch was never the man, he did have us attacking and were desperately unlucky in a lot of his games not to score, that was down to the strikers as usual, but like I say, it was blessing to be rid.

Anything's got to be better than winning 7 games in 18 months or whatever it was. I am tempered my expectation to mediocre with occasional high frequency. The land of milk & honey is long gone, its back to porridge and water just the way i like things. I have been sleeping on the hard floor for the last few months along with cold showers every morning.... i've never felt more alive.

I thought that all the players would be on reduced wages if relegated or was that another Orta fallacy?

Most building sites look like a shambles.
