Absolutely no way when he was interviewed he was told he would have to field a side like that with not enough subs to fill the bench and 2 goalkeepers
That's previous relegation level crap.
He did say Sinisterra was carrying a knock, we will find out soon
You're generally going to have 3 keepers in a matchday squad in case one gets injured/sick prior to the match. You can then still have 1 keeper on the bench. Usually though you'd have enough players so would then only name 1 keeper on the bench - but if we don't have enough players and Klaesson has travelled then it makes sense to have him on the bench rather than simply having 7 players on the bench. Extremely remote likelihood of needing all 3 keepers once the match kicks off but you never know.

I've pretended to support a team that's been crap for most of my life as part of a long term plan

Did you post them because there's something wrong with your brain
Also Birmingham takeover was only confirmed 5 days before us.
Doesn't seem to have impacted them in building a squad
A squad of sheer quality ?

Completely different set of circumstances though given that they have been a championship side for several years so wouldn't be in limbo not knowing which players would be leaving.

Didn't have the issue of relegation on top of that though. Double whammy for us. Birmingham may have been shot in the foot but we've been kneecapped on top of that

Only in he minds of those who like to decry everything Leeds do ( or dont do)

True
But I don't think the 49ers have covered themselves in glory at all.
Faith in them was low for me as I never felt they were blameless.
Looking at the state of that squad? I can only post this

This total lineup including the Xtra keeper might show us all a unified team who are fighting and willing to play for L.u.f.c. which is what we need to see right now, considering all the missing players eg. Or perhaps he wants to offer a start.
