What's the trick for sharing/embedding tweets?

Trying to use the embed code option to share tweets but am obviously doing it incorrectly. I'm clicking on the "embed" button then placing the tweets embed code between this: [code} code placed here [/code}

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

There are two ways I know of, BB. The first is using the image button that's the third icon from the right above the smilies. You then put the URL of the image between the two bracketed commands:

{img}https://xxxxxx{/img}

Replace the {} with []

But this only works for images you get from a website or online (you can right click most images online and in the box that pops up select "copy image link"--this will save the image's URL to your cursor so that you can copy and paste it between the bracketed commands above).

What I figured out today was how to use the attachment function to add images that are files like jpegs, gif, pngs, etc. To do this click on the "Attachments" tab just beneath the textbox when you're creating a post. Next, upload your image file. Once it has uploaded, select "Add inline". You should then see the bracketed commands that surround the attachment appear at the very top left-hand corner of your message. You can then move that set of brackets to wherever you want the image to be in your post.

Other people might have other, easier ways but that's how I roll

BB - If you're asking about posting tweets, it's a similar process. Just use the following bracket commands, replacing the scrollie brackets with the smooth ones.

{tweet}xxxxx{/tweet}

Then, just put the tweet # where the Xs are--the tweet # is the number set right after the word "status/" and before the "?" in the tweets URL.

I can always use the Preview/Delete buttons if I don’t get it right first few times.
