Great result, should have kept them to one mind. Great to get the first win, good to see all out attacking players scoring too.

Much easier to adapt if you have game time under your belt and you're confidence isn't low. Shack didn't really crack the Millwall team last season for whatever reason

If you are lacking in game time and considence just play the easy ball?

10 games for any defensive partnership is my mantra... Ayling didn't seem to push up quite so much second half, and he needs to stop relying on the flop because now it just looks late and badly timed. 4 times today was it, probably fouled once?

The only issue I have with Sini Gnonto and Rutter is that they are all quite similar in taking too many touches in a tight situation and getting robbed of possession.

If you are playing possession football you need to play the percentages better. You need to be top class to get away with tricks in tight spaces. All three are better when they have space to run into. We lost possession a lot today needlessly and that upsets the rhythm.

A high defensive line worries me because of lack of pace at the back - Although Byram illustrated before he went off injured how to defend a high line.

That looked the easy ball, he just under hit it and Rodon let it run ... To blame it all on Drameh is just wrong. What about that stunning crossfield and there was a goal saving block..

Be interesting to know if it was tactical or Cody picked up a knock/strain which stiffened up at HT

Dramah isnt Phillips. Phillips was a lot more down to earth and had leeds at his heart. Also a high level of trust developed with bielsa. Dramah hasn’t had time to form trust with farke yet. I hope I’m wrong but fear the worst.

As always, academy players show immense passion and pride in the shirt. Byram and Gray have also been great so far.

That's where we went wrong last season, no academy players anywhere to be seen.

I thought it was an easy ball . Just awfully dealt with by Rodon and Meslier . A right c**k up.

As Subhuman says about the partnership in defence, the more the top 4 play with each other the more they will understand each others movement, when to play what ball. The early signs are good.

Cause they are a hoofball team. Cresswell did well there as he is a bigger lad and good from set pieces.

Its only a few days ago when we all were worried about how things were going to pan out. WE knew we needed a bigger and better squad and that has improved over the last few days with the signing of Piroe and having the other players back in the fold. To get a win today was more than most would have thought this time last week. We can still see that there are problem areas but if its clear to us then you can be certain Farke can see it to. This win wont make our season but its another step in the right direction. Stop picking holes in everything and get behind this team.

I wonder with time and chemistry if this might improve. Like Sub's mantra of ten games for a defensive line to bed in, or click, some consistency and chemistry with the front four could help in this regard.

Touch of the Bielsa hooking Phillips when he was having a stinker

Yeah, it's tough on Cody as he was out of position. But that lazy back pass cost us a goal

Credit to Farke.

He has a lot of work to do to sort out our defence, it's still all over the shop.
