The red for Curry is very harsh, didn't really think it even warranted a yellow and the Argentine one looked worse and with intent.
Seems to have sparked England into life though and Ford is having his own drop goal competition , the 2nd one was class
Ahh, ok, I didn’t realise that he was off anyway so they just dictate if he comes back or not.

Thank you for the clarification 👍

Yip exactly, no bother......

It seems like England have forgotten they are down a man or it's after galvanising them big time and Argentina seem clueless how to respond, the 2nd half is gonna be interesting, has the makings of an absolute cracker and just what England need

You can't go into a tackle upright, cause a clash of heads and get away with it nowadays.

Argies won't play that bad second half.

Ford in a league of his own out there, always thought he was a better player than Farrell

You are correct, it just seemed like he travelled a fair bit in the air and there really wasn't any room to change position.

You wouldn't expect them to play as bad (or is it being stopped playing) but the pressure is on them and they don't seem to know how to break England down

Superb performance by England tonight.

Unlucky with Curry being sent off.

I actually thought the Argentinian yellow was more of a red than Curry's

We have dominated this match in the forwards despite being a man down.

Earl and the other forwards have been outstanding.

Clever play from George Ford.

I thought the very same about the cards, Lawes is having a blinder, this is a superb performance by England and and will start to change a lot of peoples thinking towards them, best performance of the tournament so far

Argentina as bad as it gets. Tactically inept.

England have been superb but Argentina have been awful, can’t even do the basics right but that takes nothing away from the English performance. You would think Argentina were a man down instead of England. George Ford MOTM but Tuilangi was awesome as well.

Brilliant performance by England 👌

Stepped on Argentina's neck and never let up, despite being a man down

Great performance in the circumstances from England. Hopefully gives us a springboard for tougher challenges. Woodward called it correct by saying it was a mix of England being good and Argentina being very bad.

In some ways going down to 14 men played into England's hand as we didn't need to try free flwoing rugby but just kick and then capitalise on mistakes.

Jeez what a performance this has been, the commentator got it right saying 'England have played like maddogs, to play like that a man down has been superb throughout, and i hope Farrell doesn't get back in when his ban is up, Ford was immense along with every single other, and that Argentina side has been performing well of recent.

I've been clinging onto the hope that has soon as Borthwick got the job he said - 'Look, i know already my best team bar a couple, and i know how i want us to play, but i want to use all the remaining games leading up to the WC to try a load of different things to just see if there's anything we might just excel at'

Because the way England have fell off a cliff with results leading up to this, performance and sheer dumb play, it just doesn't make any sense with the players they have, and for the whole group to step up like that hopefully tells me he might just have a plan after all.

Fingers crossed and if at some point we do go down i hope to fck they've played their hearts out like that and have gone down fighting to a better team.

That was a superb performance from start to finish, to go a man down so early and play like that takes some doing and in that heat, to a man they were out on their feet for a finish, the defending in the last 10 minutes was that of a team that were fighting for each other, Ford's kicking was top class and ridiculous at the same time and he deservedly won motm but every one of them were a close second

I do , I'm Irish so it's kinda in the blood if that makes any sense, ya love Union but mainly international , I'm from Munster but I actually hate them because it's the biggest bandwagon there is outside of Manu, every fucker here supports them and never followed any kind of rugby in their life before, Munster is made up of loads of club sides that never got that kind of support .

For what it's worth I cheer on all the home Nations in the world cup unless it's against Ireland obviously, especially tonight I was an England fan from the start .

But as much as I love Union i'm a massive fan (and prefer) of Rugby League and been a fan of the Rhino's for god knows how long

Wasn't able to watch it live - have it recorded. Sounds like a solid performance from England.
But Pumas very undisciplined, so any concerns England didn't score a try? Can't rely on getting that number of kickable opportunities all the time.

SA Scotland game tomorrow should be good. Scotland can be giant slayers.

The pundits were very divided tonight on whether it was a poor/undisciplined Argentina display or a top English performance, my answer to that is it was a superb English performance that forced an undisciplined Argentina performance, I honestly reckon once Ford's 2nd drop goal went over they were stunned and thought f**k we actually have to play here, but England never gave them an inch, never once let up and they didn't know how to combat that, it was a backs against the wall performance but from the front, a master class in defending, as for not scoring a try, it wasn't from the lack of trying but it was more of a we don't need to can you?
