For some reason i just couldn't get into the game last night even tho we were on top first half. Not helped by the Red Button failing for near-on 10minutes. The commentator had no one to bounce off so was dour. Hull are a strange side. A team sort of patched together with limited ability but they are streetwise in what they do. I thought we did enough to win the game but in the end we were lucky to hang on for a point.

Meslier 6: Spectator for the most part. Good punch towards the end of the game when the pressure was building.
Ayling 5: Got himself into some good forward positions only to waste them.
Struijk 7: Got done in behind once i think. Steady enough.
Rodon 7: Having a good game up until the Red.
Shackleton 6: Some poor passes throughout but energetic going forward.
Ampadu 8: Solid and dependable is the norm.
Gray 7: Better over 90 minutes.

Piroe 5: I'm not sure about the 10 position. Yesterday he looked off the pace and devoid of creativity.
James 5: Wateful. We needed James coming on when we went down to Ten.
Rutter 7: Good game fluffed the chance.


Summerville 8: Tried his best to get us a result. He had potters walk when he hit that volley.
Antony 5: Meh. Still early days.

Cooper 6: Looked well off it to start. Lunged into a challenge and got left behind. Made up for it later with another lunge timed to perfection.

We are back to the highs and lows of the Championship.
