Didn’t expect to beat Everton. A draw would have been acceptable if we also beat Soton which I still expect us to do
"New manager bounce" is just getting luck that was overdue really.

Well we won't be getting 'new manager bounce' until we actually get a new manager, so it looks like it will be next season now, not good at all.

How we've gone from Bielsa to Marsch and now Skubala, is incredible really. The club's PL survival is currently dependent on an U21 futsal coach, that takes some doing. My worry is that the majority of the players, don't have the stomach for a relegation fight. We lack strong leadership on and off the field at the moment. The 36 mil spent on Rutter, should have been used to bring in a proper target man. Bamford is far too weak and not the player you can rely on to lead the line. I noticed (other than Adams), we are far too easily muscled off the ball. Some of the football on display yesterday was appalling, far too many aimless punts upfront and players struggling to do even the basics. We don't seem to have a coherent plan going foward and just stumbling from week to week hoping for the best.

I expect The same starting 11 at the weekend.
If so then it is Skubalas fault.
Harrison playing that creative role ranks alongside the Dan James number 9 debacle.
I am guessing that is passing success rate is nowhere near 50%

Thrown under the bus, but essentially the scum games were free hits.
Everton and Southampton aren't.
Is there any urgency from the three stooges?

Wonder what happens with Scooby now? Back to the 21's. I think he should hang around with the first team for a while and help JG through the transition.

Think he will do a bit of both.

Manage the u21 but still take a smaller first team role

I was wrong.

Has gone from his first football job to a Premier League 1st team coach in under 12 months.

It makes sense. Pretty difficult at this time of year for Gracia to bring in a full team of coaches. Seems fair that one of the men who knows the players best would be part of the coaching team - like Mark Jackson did last season.

Given that we had no plan in place it made it rather surprising that most of the coaching team was released alongside Marsch - Maric, Toshack, and co.

He'd be absolutely mad to accept the job if they sack Gracia

He will if they do

But bless his heart he was awful

Skoobs would be a temporary choice should they sack JG, sack him now because his style and ideas are not going to change from now on in and come the Man City game he'll wish he had been sacked today.

Wonder if that's why we've seen some creative team selection recently ...

Wish Skubs all the best--say what you will about his futsal ball experience, he was the one constant with all the managerial changes the last few seasons. Deserves his chance...

I hope it goes better for him than it did for Mark Jackson at MK Dons.

That's come out of the blue. Interesting so many clubs want our u21 managers. Hope it works out for him.
