Rumours circulating Bamford, Cooper & Firpo may start.

God helps us if these rumours are true, a recipe for disaster.

We shouldn't start players like Gruev with limited game time in away matches, this is where we went wrong at Stoke.

Have to agree - the left of the defence comprising of Cooper and Firpo lacks pace. Whilst I do not know what Rotherham have in an attacking sense on that side of the pitch, it would be an area to exploit with a ball over the top.

Bamford starting, whilst not ideal is not a major concern for me in this game. It would be useful - long term for the season - if he can regain his mojo.

On the 3rd one yes.

I hope it's true about the other 2.

Does Firpo lack pace ? I know he struggles with navigation.

I know players have been away but we have seen this team falter when too many changes are made - need as few changes as possible, ampadu and Kamara must start as should James and Summerville, rutter if fit, bamford in place of Piroe would be ok and if he is fit it would be a good game to give Spence his first start of the season. Rodon and struijk at CB.

We should be winning tonight’s game no matter what team we put on the pitch.
Am going to the game later- anyone know if there’s a designated pub for away fans where Leeds fans will congregate before the game?

Totally correct in my opinion. Just start the best team available and you can rest players once you have done enough to pit the game to bed.
Changing key people like Ampadu, or looking rehabilitation opportunities with the likes of Bamford or Firpo will not work out well.

Just kill Rotherham's hope and you can tinker about after that. Even then I don't want to see Bamford on the pitch. Give Joseph a go if you want to experiment for the future.

Can't be putting excuses in already, there are non, both teams are where they are for a very good reason, if we don't win tonight, there is more wrong than one would imagine, players coming back from Int duty, tiredess, injuries, niglgles, new manager bounce, Yorkshire derby, not having any of it, and DF ought to be saying exactly the same to the squad, if your'e not up to it, let me know right now.
This game is more than winnable or we may as well not bother.

As I posted on the Farke furious at Friday game thread, no excuses at all.

Totally agree can't be arsed to read through thread to find out what you mean by can't be putting excuses is allready but I agree ffs international break as if we have the whole team on international duties, we simply must become consistent like Ipswich and Leicester, so for me no excuses expecting us to win tonight and I won't take anything less

Pace and stamina in my opinion. It is not coincidence that he rarely ventured over the halfway line in the last game and when he did the ball went over the top and they scored. In fairness he is decent at passing, he just seems to have giddy moments when he runs around and forgets his position and the rules of the game.

We had 8 or 9 players away on international duty.

I have a feeling you'll be coming under justifiable immediate suspicion.

Welcome.

Geo plays, excellent news. Byram on the bench as is Struijk? Not sure I like injured players on the bench. No Spence yet
