But we had 2 left and 2 right wingers on at the end. Assumed Gray would move inside but he didn't..
I'm getting to the stage where I think Gray needs used as a MF with Amp and Kamara and neede to vacate the RB berth.

He does ok there but Ayling offers much much more of a goal threat.
Also I am worried that his creativity is getting nullified with this bac and across possession based approach by Farke.

Really don't understand why Charlie isn't on the bench. Poveda shouldn't be, we have enough wingers starting or on the bench. Joseph looks big strong this season and we know he has a nose for goal and is something of a predator

I don't think it's lack of depth, I think it's the subs or replacements are not the right ones and we end up out of shape...

Inexplicable how Bamford could be offside. He is looking along the line and still steps beyond the last defender. Comes back onside to then supposedly touch the ball with the end of his toe nail - not sure he did touch it tbh. But I can see why the linesman raised his flag.
He was miles off it when he came on. If this is a fit Paddy then DF needs to look at someone else as Faaip suggests. He was truly dreadful.

Still need a LB. Firpo is a lamppost offers nothing if this is how he is going to play. He had acres to run into on a few occasion but was either under instruction not to or he has zero belief in his ability. On one of the very few occasions when he did get forward he gave the ball away and jogged back as they scored.

Having scored so early in the game I thought as the first half progressed and we dominated that we would pick them off. Big kick in the teeth but results like this happen. Need to react in the next game and string a run of wins together again.

I would say a big big well done to Rotheram who battled hard desperately for their point and nearly won it had Coops not been on the line.
We need to score more and he more clinical when we overwhelm in possession, first half for example.
Yes we have dropped two points but it's another underfeated.
Poveda should get more game time. MOT.

Really hard run.

It's why you can't not win these.

Would like to know why we are so inconsistent from half to half.

It's what separates us from Ipswich and Leicester.

They find a way
Ipswich didn't find a way against Rotherham Cjay...

I'm going to give discredit to LUFC, for being cocky, casual & allowing a poor team back in the game.

How many more times --- Birmingham, Stoke, Plymouth & now Rotherham, all world beaters of the championship.

That was a 2 footed shin job on James. Should have been an immediate red card, never mind a penalty

Still .... we have to take responsibility and say we didn't deserve to win

We'll drop more points with liabilities on the pitch.

Nailed it geezer.
Bamford like a giraffe on drugs. How he steps offside I’ll never know.
Firpo was playing. Are you sure.
But a lot of players didn’t look on their game at all.

Can't believe the referee or linesman missed that blatant challenge on James, they soon saw the offside decision.

You've said it yourself Leon. Leeds Utd are everyone's Cup Final. I was yelling at the TV in the first half because of our tippy tappy going nowhere football, but Rotherham stepped up second half and deserved their point. I get it that your p'd off because you expected a rout. So did I and we should have won it first half.

He was probably the only bright spark.
We also missed the normal creativity (bar the assist obviously) from Rutter who was clearly not anywhere near his best because of injury.

Pascal should have won it the game for us.

For a big lad, he's missed a few from set-pieces over the last three seasons.

Still feel like we are an OK team with very good individuals rather than a very good team with very good individuals.

Most of our best play is because of brilliance individually rather than lovely team moves.

I still don't think Farke makes much difference (tin hat on) in the same way Bielsa did or Mckenna does for Ipswich

I didn't and maybe that arrogance is our downfall as a team and fans. I said this was a trap game and I was right, I think we win it 3pm on a Saturday.. A lot of our players wouldn't have trained much this week
