Always behind play, let too many bulling tackles go, him and his linesmen/women/things didn't work as a team, over ruling each other.
Missed fouls he should have given, gave fouls he shouldn't have given, all in all, a very poor performance.
BTW, this is based on his team as well, no way did I think Dan James was offside, his assistants were too slow all night keeping up with our pacey attack.

Swansea's game plan seemed to be to beat up Summerville any time he got near the ball and the referee was more than happy to let them pursue that strategy throughout.

Awarded us a deserved penalty and also correctly red carded the Boro player otherwise the rating would have been lower.

5 - really inconsistent in issuing yellow cards. Not sure how a couple of their cynical first half fouls escaped bookings. At least gave the penalty and got sending off right.

Mathew Donohue will be referee again for Saturdays clash over the border.
He is officially the worst rated ref so far this season, west brom match, 13 voters he averaged just 2 points, 9 yellows in that game as well.
Lets hope he has a better day Saturday eh !!

Thought the referee did ok today as he wasn't swayed to give any soft penalties by the home crowd although as usual some of our players did have to accept being clattered from behind as they outskilled thier opponents.

7/10 for not caving to home pressure.
