Re: West Brom v Leeds Utd Match Thread
I think we'll see better from Gruev today than we did in the last game he started. He got about 20 minutes against Ipswich and looked decent.
Also, I do like Spence and Byram in those positions. Spence in his natural position. Byram been very good at LB all season. And Gnonto had to start at some point. Personally I would have started him against sides that will pack out the back and James against better teams who will be more willing to commit and leave open spaces. But still good for Willy to get a start.

Of course it is, it's bold.
It's a lot of changes, a brave manager putting what he's taught them to trust, let's enjoy and judge these players like Gruev.
Cooper doesn't need any introductions at LCH
I'll say Spence and Gnonto could prove a massive gamble either way, but attacking wise it makes sense.
Rest Ampadu or Kamara, i'd say he's right in Kamara, Ampadu reads the game better and i'm hoping Gruev pushes on if that's what he's been working on with him.

I’m going to have a right strop if we sell him in the window.malcolmw wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 8:04 pm Agree Jay. There is no way we could fill the void with a replacement with what we can afford. Lots of hard work done to get him playing like he is - fact PSG are knocking proves his value.
I also think DF starting Willie in the last game before the window may be a shot across the bow of his money hungry agent.
Will do my head right in. In terms of this division it’s easily one of the best if not the best cb partnership.
No it’s definitely the best. It’ll certainly tell me something I didn’t want to know about the 49ers.
Anyhoo I’m probably jumping the gun.
You might be right about Gnonto.
I’m sure Farke has his reasons though, in big games he’s been top notch.
I declare my love for Saint Daniel and I can shoehorn him in to any conversation.

No, he's waiting to pick out where it's all going wrong, instead of saying it now.

Every single one of the incoming 5 tonight should be out to state their case.

Right, that's me off for a while. Don't like being on the thread during the game.

Cup final? They didn't need to turn up for it, we made it easy for them.
