Said it a couple of times. Rutter has to play the 10. He's so much more of a threat there. If Farke doesn't like Piroe in the 9, he has to find a striker he does like in the 9. Piroe at 10 does not work. Correction. It works 1 game out of 5. But that's not good enough. Get the right players for the right positions.

Definitely.
Terrible terrible ref. Was an easy one too.

Looks decidedly dodgy on the crosses. Ran out and jumped for one with 3 players between him and the ball, and then punched wildly at one that was a soft catch. It's another worry.

Rutter and Gruev (apart from the appalling free kick) did well.
Other than that all below expectations.
The Bamford headless chicken routine as a sub is not working.

On the bright side, it's only 2:30 pm in California. Plenty of time to drown my sorrows in a sunny brewery beer garden.

I agree re cooper though. Him and Georgi should be allowed to kick the rest of them black and blue.

Bamford is very probably done but if he has any chance to come back he needs a run in the 21's ... But Farke seems to ignore that option to get players game fit and improve confidence

Playing Piroe is like starting with 10 men.

There were plenty of positives from Gruev and Gnont. Can't think of much that Gruev did wrong. Gnonto was lively but just looked a little match rusty with the final product. He took that ball down well that should have got us the penalty and put us 1-0 up. 2-0 up if we'd got the Rutter penalty.

I think Gnonto needs to start more. Would have started James today as I thought WBA would leave more spaces at the back. Would start Gnonto more often against packed defenses. I think Farke has been guilty of not using that rotation more often.

DF has prob done every single thing that has been bandied about this site but still gets stick, maybe it’s time to realise the players are just not good enough. It wouldn’t matter which system we play or who we use to play it once we go outside our best 11 we have nobody else worth playing. Gruev , non existent . Gnonto, boots on the wrong feet, Piroe, couldn’t hit a barn door with a shovel, Bamford, waste of space now, Darlow, no improvement on Meslier, Joseph, too little too soon, Firpo, say no more…………………….

Watching Leeds play frequently sends me back to playing Football Manager. Only way I can lift my spirits after another dull performance. The make believe world is a much happier place.

Clitheroe White wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 10:05 pm And play Rutter or piroe where?

Gnonto looks better with a freer role which would be in the centre.
Piroe would come off for Gnonto. Piroe is, frankly, worthless. Swansea fleeced us on that one.

Leicester have pissed the league, that 2nd spot fast becoming a distant blur and play offs are not for bottlers.

C'mon DF sort it the F out.
