Whenever I've been asked to play in friendly matches since then, I've always replied "No f**king way".

I can only relate to it through the annual men v ladies rugby match at my local club. Tbh that could be anal match as they’d stick their fingers anywhere and were permanently trying to detach you from your pride & joy. Absolute animals

Jay, the one and only time I can remember playing football on the same pub team as my Dad, who was a proper fiery character, one of my mates kept shoulder charging him when he was catching crosses

So my Dad pulled me to one side and said "Hey James, tell that f**king mate of yours Gary, that if he does that again I'm gonna put my knees through his f**king head".

I was really tempted to say to Gary "Hey Gary, my Dad says your a soft cnut and that you're scared to shoulder charge him""

I thought better of it though, as this was supposed to be a friendly.

Now that is what I call some proper father-son bonding!

Time Mr 64 was on here defending himself and his hair, I’ll put my hand up and admit I’m totally jealous. Decided years ago to shave the lot, ok in summer but bloody freezing in this weather. Saves a lot of washing & combing though. Mr 64, hello hello, anyone there…………

I think most blokes shave their head, because they can't be arsed washing & styling their hair. I personally think shaven heads makes one look older & aggressive, although long hair can look messy if not cared for, I'm very fussy about the hair products I use. Jill & I have used the same hairdresser for the last fifteen years.

I'm just as fussy with the clothes I wear, I tend to shop at Crew, Jack Wills, River Island & some independent clothes stores.

Washing and styling my hair wasn’t the problem, more so the wave ie waving goodbye. Just cut it shorter and shorter until I gave in and shaved it. Hope I don’t look too aggressive

I will be approaching Leeds, from the West, on the M621, around 10am on Sunday. I will be heading for the Armley Gyratory. I can leave the M621 at the (Ring Road) exit before the ground, and then go down Gelderd Road. Or I can take the exit right next to the ground, and then turn left at the roundabout. Which is best at that time?

But the main question (may be a stupid question), is: Are both those motorway exits open on match days?

We are meeting in the pub at 10am, so I’ll be there around the same time as you Wes.

I come off the M621 a couple of junctions earlier, but I’m pretty sure both junctions are open. If I were you, I’d come off at Elland Road right next to the ground and turn right at the roundabout towards the Gyratory. Obviously, traffic will be building but you’ll be heading away from the ground and traffic.
