Also could have been outfor months had that rake down the back of his calf been worse, he was very lucky, so was the twat that did it.
Gnonto would be the most direct replacement for me. The raking should have been a straight red.

But Gnonto was already on, hence starting with either of the other 2 and resting Cry or using him as sub.
If the football authourities had their house in order like rugby has, that would be looked at on Mon/Tues and he would still be getting a r@d in retrospect.

But from the start of the game, Cry rested. Gnonto left, James right

Summerville put two poor crosses in & James made one poor cross, apart from Roberts cross, that was it.

They stuck to a cynical game plan which worked better for them on the day than ours did for us - they picked up a point they probably didn’t expect and we dropped two.

They played the situation, occasion and officials better than we did, so no point moaning about time wasting after the event Daniel.

We hopefully learned something and move on.

Thought Gnonto was poor today

Not a lot to shout about on his positive actions.

Lost possession four times, a couple of poor passes & defensive work not good when tracking back, also just like Rutter & Summerville took the wrong options. James wasn't much better when he came on.

Indeed, Huddersfield deserved their point, because we didn't do enough in the final third.

Although Willy was very poor again today, I'm surprised he lasted as long as he di tbh, Farke didn't look impressed at the end of first half.

Agree, long way to go, we were going to drop points at some stage, important thing is to bounce straight back, we owe stoke one, then another Yorkshire derby before hull and a resurgent millwall.

Got piss wet through going to the match should have watched it at home in the recliner ,couldn't even rant and rave as i was in with the home fans .surely some one can coach Summerville to use his left foot.

We can't afford to let complacency set in, need to focus on Tuesday evening now. I'd be tempted to move Gray back into midfield alongside Amps, start with Cooper, Roberts and James. It's clear Jimmy needs a rest, and Kamara as a sub.

I'm sure Farke is taking note as I write.

I picked gray as 1st scorer as i was convinced he would play in midfield.

Again, why a separate thread for continuing the discussion of the same game? It's clutter for clutter's sake!
Cjay suggested we have pre- & post-match threads, as other football forums do.

Barlow Boy mentioned due to being at the games like myself, he didn't have time to read all the match day thread & the stuff posted or get involved afterwards, so I thought I'd test it out.

Most of our match day discussion fades six or seven pages after the final whistle, so with the Leicester match day thread had gone 22 pages when I locked it, we may have got up to 30.

Introducing the Leicester Post Match topic has been a roaring success with 22 pages & the topic is still on the first page of General Chat.

The Leicester Pre-match chat went 5 pages before Elland posted up the actual Match Day topic

By introducing these two threads, we have created much more footfall & interest/conversation in what are generally quiet periods on this forum.

Creating more content can only be good for the MOT forum long term.

It’s always worth pulling Timmy out to cheer yourself up.
I declare my love for Saint Daniel and I can shoehorn him in to any conversation.

All the top four have had a slight drop in form at one time or another. The pressure is piling up.
I think our last two have been below our best but we have 4 points from them. Could’ve been way worse.
And criticising Farke is a little harsh. One of his subs got an assist after all.

I think Farke's a star to be honest, and I hope he can step up to the Prem if we get there - which was why I was slightly surprised to see him letting his frustration show after the game.

To do with knowing the other coach personally perhaps?
