It was, but the ball to Sumerville second half for his chance was even better

Much better second half, he made my 6 and I think I gave him an 8, so no bias at all from me but he he was definitely poor first half

I've posted before I'll always score flair over defence, and Gnonto's passing was another level at times
Sorry mate, but playing Joseph ahead of Bamford right now is a knee-jerk reaction.

Am presuming it is to do with Birmingham having American owners. We are on a lot but is that because we have American owners too rather than us being the 'biggest' game of the weekend.

Is there some kind of condition written into Sky's contract with the EFL that dictates they need to show teams a minimum amount of times? I'm assuming teams get paid for each game they play on Sky on top of a blanket payment? So there needs to be some attempt to share the coverage...

Or maybe just open up a thread with a sticky so it is just an announcement rather than for others to post on which says Post match starts on Page 16 of the match thread. Then people know what page to jump to rather than having to trawl through pages they might not want to.

I think a problem also arises as to the timing of when the match thread is shut because a lot of us are watching via dubious streams which can often be a few minutes behind the real match time. As such the thread may be shut before some people have actually finished watching.

Why? he's a better footballer... Can't be age because you rate Gray and he's younger, can't be experience or you'd be calling for Coop over Ampadu ... Can't claim quality as Mateo is looking good in his cameo's and top class v Chelsea...

It was on this morning ‘64

Kamara had a better second half than I thought last night.

Paddy made the right moves and runs first half whilst being marshalled by both CB’s, he just wasn’t given the ball apart from the one over the top for him to run onto (a firmer header and he would have been through on goal, as it was he was caught and had to go wider).

Paddy’s putting the ball in the net, that’s enough to do it for me.

If it stops happening, there’s Mateo waiting in the wings.

Again, as is Mateo... two goals v Premier class Chelsea. I'm not saying he should start, I'm just saying I'd start him, but the excuses given for not starting him are just not valid imo..

2 runs with the ball

1 decent pass
1 goal

6 of those 12 successful passes you mention, five were simple, one was very good.

First-half
A lot of the messy stuff our fans miss, he may not be a glamour player like Summerville, Rutter & Gnonto, but I bet if you ask those players how important Paddy is to the team, they would speak of him with positivity, unlike a section of our fanbase.

Btw, don't ever go to ER, you'd hate it as our fans chant Paddy's name a few times at every game.

Ask someone like Heidi, she would soon dismiss your negativity about Bamford.

Most importantly, Farke knows the score, but our brilliant coach is another one you have criticised in the past
Excellent 2nd half, poor 1st half goal aside, simples.

Maybe certain fans like you feel the need to over compensate for the abuse he suffered with over praise.

Personally I'd rather be honest.

Yep I have, doing well now, but most criticisms of Farke are born of his top league record.

Until he answers those with performances in that league those concerns are still valid.

Even when I point out Bamford's good moments, folk on here insist Paddy had a poor first-half.

Thank god we have Farke & Bamford.

I'm over the moon with the way our squad are performing & how well Daniel is managing our squad. :-D

I'm not going to re watch to check.

From what I remember and from what others have said he had a poor first half until he took the goal very well.

Then a very good 2nd half, I've checked other forums and that is the general consensus as well.

Little Daniel is doing well now, I'm pleased, needs to continue though :)

I take no notice of what other forums/twitter/facebook say, if I did, Bamford & Firpo wouldn't have started & Ampadu would have played in midfield.
