We have been hiding Gray at right back, which is probably a blessing, for all this talk of him being a wonder child he does feck all in midfield.

Sub him and allow Byram to carry his attacking threat with him.

2 good things tactically people liked vs Boro were Summerville and Gnonto swapping sides and Gray getting forward . . .not this game, clearly not a fan of that DF.

Thought his experience was going to make a difference when it matters.

Midfield has been a problem all season, its because we have steam rolled a lot of teams particularly at ER we have got away with in the main.

Welcome to the club! It’s been drastic for a while re: subs and in-game management, especially these past 5-6 games. But because results have been reasonably favorable/games in the balance, nothing has been done. Now that the wheels are apparently falling off, he hasn’t established any alternative patterns of play to get us out of this. I wouldn’t get your hopes up. Maybe a sub or two in the 70th minute.

Yep exactly, the only reason we were still in it was down to the poor form of others. That wasn't going to last forever.
