Leeds believing their own hype. Turning up against teams they think will just roll over. Don’t see teams like Man City do that. That’s the difference from our peacocks to real stars. Never mind we just need 3 goals. C’mon Leeds !!!

We have been hiding Gray at right back, which is probably a blessing, for all this talk of him being a wonder child he does feck all in midfield.YorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 7:53 pm Byram off, Gray to right back, Kamara into midfield and stick Joseph on for Piroe
Sub him and allow Byram to carry his attacking threat with him.

Probably as they have a better managerCjay wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 7:53 pm Another crappy passive sit back set up from DF away from home.
2 good things tactically people liked vs Boro were Summerville and Gnonto swapping sides and Gray getting forward . . .not this game, clearly not a fan of that DF.
Thought his experience was going to make a difference when it matters.
Sort it out ffs

Would be a decent option. We need three, this is not like Blackburn where one would have done. He has to make HT subsYorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 7:53 pm Byram off, Gray to right back, Kamara into midfield and stick Joseph on for Piroe

Midfield has been a problem all season, its because we have steam rolled a lot of teams particularly at ER we have got away with in the main.

Welcome to the club! It’s been drastic for a while re: subs and in-game management, especially these past 5-6 games. But because results have been reasonably favorable/games in the balance, nothing has been done. Now that the wheels are apparently falling off, he hasn’t established any alternative patterns of play to get us out of this. I wouldn’t get your hopes up. Maybe a sub or two in the 70th minute.

Fabulous ball in , nobody gambled. 6 yard box players are long gone. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 7:47 pm There we go, great ball from Firpo, no Bamford or Joseph .
Re: QPR v Leeds Utd Match Thread
If James was fit I’d have Gnonto off in a heartbeat, been woeful tonight & one stupid tackle away from a red.YorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 7:53 pm Byram off, Gray to right back, Kamara into midfield and stick Joseph on for Piroe

Right winger coming central condensing the space, ignoring the space on the right, no midfield runners.
It's just bizarre and then expecting Rutter or Jimmy to beat 2 or 3 players in an area of the pitch your tactics condense to create miracles.

Yep exactly, the only reason we were still in it was down to the poor form of others. That wasn't going to last forever.JoeDenver wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 7:59 pm Welcome to the club!
