Sure we go out and spend money on players BUT when it comes to paying this debt off and buying better players we can never do it. We have one of the greatest and loyal fans and are a one city football club but it is hard to keep the faith after 55 years of supporting the boys. I just cannot see us getting promoted this season. The ticket prices are one of the highest in the league and above half of the premiership. If the owners really had faith in this club they would expand the stadium NOW to increase revenues as we do many 0'000 of fans who just cannot get tickets. I really do think we should not of sold Summerville for such a low amount and yes if points were deducted we could handle that. Just look at Everton, Leicester etc
Didn’t really have a choice with Summerville in the end given he had a clause, good we got what we did really - what’s a shame is we don’t look like signing an adequate replacement. Still think we will go up though we have a solid defence and James, gnonto, Rutter, piroe and Joseph are still the best attacking line up for me - I do think we need another in midfield as no replacement for Kamara yet either.

Very little transfer stuff about as usual

Sara is in Istanbul as he closes in on a move to Turkish scum.

The Athletic have backed up our interest in Bobby Clark.

But likely a loan only as Liverpool want atleast £12mil for a 19 year old with roughly 7 matches worth of senior football to his name.

what sort of clause did Summerville have. We sold Gray for £40M a midfield player and only £25M for an attacker with 2 years remaining on his contract. Makes no sense.

As to your comment re "still the best attacking line up" well we had Summerville last season and did not score the most goals in the league
Leeds need to bring in a midfielder who can score goals and a decent number 9 in Jan 2027.

The young Liverpool lad I posted above is the only other rumour floating around.

Second highest xg last season and had we not had that melt down at the end of the season it would have been the top. We struggled with the number 9 position and could argue we were often over reliant on Summerville - of course we are weaker without him but Joseph could make a big difference if Farke starts him. I guess we can only see what happens

Leeds United are set to waste no time in targeting a replacement for Crysencio Summerville, with reports of a £7m bid for Norwich City star Jonathan Rowe this morning.

Rowe would be a very good signing but I highly doubt they sell him for that, would likely want close to double

In terms of like for like replacements Rowe and Clarke are probably the obvious ones.

Hopefully it progresses

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi interest confirmed by Leeds Live.

And interest in Wolves left back left back Hugo Bueno.

But both will be difficult as most loans want guaranteed minutes and DF wasn't that generous with Anthony, Roberts etc so will be a hard sell.

Sheffield United are doing some good business.

Rak-Sakyi is going to tear up this league and some clever signings with Moore, O’Hare, Souttar, Gilchrist, Burrows. And their squad still has Hamer, Ahmedhodzic, Davies, Brewster

Better hope Rowe gets done if we miss Rak-Sakyi

Season starts the day after tomorrow and DF has already stated he wants a LB, midfielder and a replacement for Summerville, we must be getting all 3 in tomorrow !!!!

Newcastle United have signed Denmark Under-21 striker William Osula from Sheffield United.

The 21-year-old joins the Magpies for a reported fee of £15m, having scored three goals in 31 senior appearances for the Blades.
Decent fee for someone who hasn't done much

Based on that Cry worth closer to 35M ? Joseph must be about 15-20 now too then
