Solomon and Sallai, yes please!
Who said you can't get quality for fraction of the price of Georginio?

What's the latest on Roland Sallai from Freiburg? Thought we were hunting him pretty aggressively?

Nothing much happens weekends so I guess we're back to it on Monday. 4-5 players in 5 days should be fun

Definite interest in Max Aarons it seems.

Didn’t we nearly have him once, but he sacked us off for Bournemouth ?

Re: Summer transfer and squad discussion
The Aarons interest doesn't make much sense imo.
Aside from the fact he left us hanging for Bournemouth, he's a right back.
They say he can play left back, in the same way Byram can but its not the same as having a left footed left back.
The balance is different, especially attacking wise.

Agreed would give us 3 RWB and still only one LWB.Cjay wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 12:57 pm The Aarons interest doesn't make much sense imo.

Re: Summer transfer and squad discussion
It would be Farke giving a favor when he left us high and dry last season. I can see it working as he’d provide cover at both slots ala Byram and would relegate Byram to being the 4th choice fullback option, which is where he belongs. Given Firpo’s and Bogle’s proclivities for the trainer’s table, I suspect Aaron’s would get a decent amount of playing time, but he’d likely be 3rd choice. Suspect a loan move to another side would make more sense for him (one of the newly promoted sides or one of the stronger Championship sides…back to Norwich even?)Cjay wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 12:57 pm The Aarons interest doesn't make much sense imo.

Hopefully we can get shut of Piroe whilst the window's still open.
If he's that good, teams should be falling over themselves to sign him yes?
It'll be interesting to see if ANY decent side can fit Piroe into the modern day 'lone role' 9, i think not.
Let's see.

Apparently Farke is a big fan. all sins are forgiven ...?JoeDenver wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 1:25 pm It would be Farke giving a favor when he left us high and dry last season.
