Unless the rules are dramatically altered, the big teams will constantly do what they want.
When was the last time this cup was won by a lesser team, same as FA cup (wigan I think)
Same as the 5 sub rule, some of the talent on the bench is astonishing, then look at ours when we've had to include 2 goalies and 16 yr olds with no experience.
It offers a European slot for the minnows that would love to achieve something , but the big boys can easily add strength in depth to beat you, plus they only have to win 4 games and thats it.
For teams like us, I'm happy we went out first game, just not the way we did.
