They probably will be good enough, Adam.

Keeping Gnonto is a positive and having Aaronson & Wober back makes us stronger.

I get we’ve lost big players in Summerville, Rutter and Gray but we got good money for Rutter and Gray and brought in 7/8 players. Some folk claim to be clairvoyant, and able to claim that these new lads will fail but we simply don’t know.

As always, I’ll be there tomorrow supporting the club, and I’m more convinced now that promotion is definitely within reach.

Really not sure about Wober, enough to want Ampadu to step in should we lose a CB to injury.

Over £120mil transfer profit.

£10+mill off Red Bull for shares and sponsorship.

Squad massively reduced so wage bill shaved.

From a business perspective the Venture Capital fund will be thrilled.

Anyway.

Hopefully tomorrow can give us optimism.

Tiz done now

I still believe we have the best squad in the championship & have enough to achieve promotion.

We have to remember the championship is weaker, all the clubs have lost their best players to the Premier League.

I've no idea I've never sent a tweet in my life I'm not tweeting 14k people for an individual opinion.

Dan Moylan not overly impressed either it seems.

He thinks they have given DF his get out of jail card.

No further outgoings has to be seen as a positive.

Overall we look set for a decent season and now it's time to get 100% behind Farke and the players.

Yeah I am the same. We have brought in 8 players (7 new players and Rodon as a signing too), presumably all as first team standard as well as the returning Wober and Aaronsen. So that is 10 that are in likelihood all good enough to start. We have lost 4 from the first team and then a couple more that would have been considered first team squad members. (or 9 new first teamers if Rodon is discounted).

So whilst we cannot replace the potential of what Rutter and Gray could have been we look to have at the very least given ourselves a chance to replace what they had done. We will miss Summerville given that it would be reasonable to expect him to do what he did last season again but hopefully with Gnonto, Ramazzani, Solomon coming in we can hopefully come fairly close to replicating it. Whilst Aaronsen is very different to Rutter we should have a reasonable chance of getting similar, hopefully more, production from the 10 role whoever plays there. With Kamara gone we have a ready made replacement with Gruev further up the pitch and if we get something more from Rothwell and Tanaka then that will be good. Defensively not much change Bogle coming in for Gray and you would hope a regular right back will do as well as a fantastic midfielder being played out of position. Wober presumably replaces Cooper and we also have the option of Ampadu slotting in if needed. How much Schmidt brings us is a bit more of an unknown but we also have Byram as cover on both sides.

So for me given how well we played against Sheff Wed where we were without Summerville, Rutter and Gray and only had 3 'new' players, , in Bogle, Rodon and Aaronsen, starting then there is no reason I can see to be downbeat.

Semantics - you didn’t use the actual word, but your window assessment is alluding to that suggestion.

Thank feck it is more or less over.

Goodish transfer window I think..... 6/10

I don't believe Solomon will stay fit much (Never played more than 23 in a season in his entire career) but a cut above anything in the championship when he is.

Ramazani is an excellent addition with flair and end product who I think will get bums off seats similar to Rutter.

Tanaka is a great signing.... Combative, creative and has performed well against top tier players. Steal at 4 million.

Schmidt I'm unsure of..... Looks to be a good player but definitely a step up from what he's played against. Good profile but bit of an unknown data wise as he hasn't really faced good opposition throughout a season. Big step up.
Kristensen was dominant in Austria which is for me a stronger league than Switzerland....... We'll see.

Do feel like we deserved one statement signing and feel like we have sort of/kind of replaced what we have lost if we don't account for the adaptation period it will take to bed them in.

Archie Gray/Kamara have been upgraded in midfield by Tanaka. Less convinced by Rothwell when Kamara was playing well but think he's good, again need a run of games to see how he fits.

Ramazani I hope/think will add chaos on the left but a lot to ask to replace Summervilles numbers. Think in other ways he will be harder on championship defences than summerville just because of his unpredictability. Something that I think Summerville struggled with towards the end. You always knew he was going to cut in and try to shoot kinda thing, championship defences adapted later on.

Rutter I don't think we've replaced at 10 directly but I think Aarronsson releases the ball better and genuinely think the more he plays the better he'll do though a Hamer type signing would of really added genuine quality across the front 3. Soloman if fit can play as a 10 and I think will be difficult to stop so we're in a decent place.

Schmidt adds cover/competition and rotation at lb/rb. Key for Firpo's chances of injury.

Are we head and shoulders above shitfield and Burnley? Don't think so..... But we are certainly competitive. Better than average window and crazy fees paid for Gray/Rutter in my opinion. Remember we all didn't know what Rutter was going to do this time last year. I'm hopeful.

Which player that we've brought in this summer underwhelms you the most ?

Rothwell for me.
