Absolutely clueless in the final third. We could have played for another two hours and we wouldn't score. F*ck off farke, you don't know what you're doing

Agree. I’ve promised myself I wouldn’t be negative this season, but I will allow myself to be realistic.

Very frustrating performance, you just knew what was coming once we conceded. The table won’t look good after today that’s for sure but no need to panic yet

Parker is a better manager than Farke despite nobody wanting him but welcoming the German Southgate with open arms.

No excuses.

Burnley are missing about 8 players.

Newcastle got Pope for £10 million at a time when we could have gotten some decent cash for our flappy bird.

Piss poor result, no excuses really. Should've won that comfortably with the chances we missed. Farke has no clue how to deal with ten men behind the ball, which doesn't bode well. Tired of the excuses he gets, he's had more than enough time.

First loss, first game v the low block/time wasting. Should have had a pen, much better team but lacked creativity to break them down

Well said OB. Some folk mistake realism for negativity.

Would we be doing better than Southampton had we gone up. They have four defeats and only 1 goal scored in four games

Don't think they were any good tbh, same result as Blackburn really. Once chance on the break from a slip. Typical crap Championship game.

I'm not a big Farke fan but these two statements are contradictory.

Farke can't break down the low block
We created a lot of good chances

The first can't be true if the second is

CC wouldn’t have cracked this side. He’s been horrific for Toulouse.

This.

Until we saw how we coped with the tactics that flummoxed us last season was hard to judge.

Now we've seen it.

2 very good games and one poor game isn't it?

Incredibly underwhelming tbh.
Outside of the Gnonto & Joseph chances there was barely anything of note.
Its hard not to come to the inclusion that Parker out coached Farke today. A bit lucky maybe with the Solomon slip but took the chance which we didnt and got what we deserved

How do we change it :duno: same old story, low block breakaway goal. Why do we have such a problem with it.
