We created two good chances, both tricky, should have had a pen. We didn't create a hatful as your post suggested.

Interestingly when I was getting slammed here for all my Bamford not good enough comments years ago, I seldom criticized his finishing.

Possibly. Those really bad ones have an amplified effect, no?

Can’t comment on whether Parker is a better fit than Farke on this display. It doesn’t take a great deal of coaching to work out how to beat Leeds at ER.

Of course the Farke Outers have fuel for the fire now but with hindsight it was fairly obvious we were taking some risks earlier on. If Joseph slots that chance then Parker is already on plan B.
Was this the low block tactic from Farke.
Oh and the pen. Well DDB says dont cry over spilt milk and I agree but its so blatant it’s laughable

Both crap tbh, Farke just clueless when his individuals don't help him out.

He said he thrives under pressure, but Daniel and the team bottled it during the run in last season.

Don't know enough about Parker tbh, as a manager. Farke is a top coach, but not a great manager. IMO, could use someone to pick the team, work out matchday tactics and make the subs (again strange subs today) Leave Farke on the training ground, where he excels

We didn't have the luck maybe.

Joseph absolutely should have scored, should have had a pen, but 1 slip shouldn't leave us so open at the back from our own corner either.

We looked very vulnerable on the counter plenty of times and once Parker shut up shop we had 0 answers.

Today imo was an important test, one we failed as a team and Farke as a manager.

The narrowness and slowness in our play when behind was ridiculously naive.

And this was basically our best squad minus James (I don't count Bamford).

Burnley on the other hand had 6,7 players injured.

If someone starts a poll (not me as far too early) I'd vote for him to stay. I am critical though

Parker and Farke cut from the same cloth imo.

But Parker is better at it.

Burnley scored and shut up shop.

We could have played till tomorrow and not scored.

The narrowness with no natural 10 to play eye of the needle passes is a glaring issue.

Couldn't believe how narrow we were at times 2nd half.

Even Jesse would have gone "steady on my German bro bit of width yeaaah".
We were narrower at times than any point with Jesse. I think I’ve dialed in our preferences:

Rambling American fast-paced penis ball is not acceptable

Rambling German moderate-paced (even narrower) penis ball is acceptable

I’m struggling to find where I’m missing something :duno:

One would hope Ramazani starts very soon, at 10M he'll be wasted in this league as a bench player. That said he won't match Cry, he's not that quality yet. Didn't replace Geo could become a mantra too

Weaker division if Burnley are the best of it but so are we and, atm, it's not close. 2023/4 Leeds beats 2024/5 Leeds

Neither are good managers, same as Russell Martin. Plenty of managers got the better of Farke last year by parking the bus.

I think with hindsight Farkes tactic was pushing hard for the early goal. Take some risks. Even after the slip Bogle still reacts like a dead snail.
I’m sure Farke knew exactly what Parker would bring and went hard for the early goal.
But large parts of that game left me bored witless tbh.

Sure Jaydog, but surely you can see the hypocrisy of the arguments for Marsch’s ouster not being applied to Farke. Or is hypocrisy allowed if it’s against an American?

Because it's early days and he's shown enough so far and as I say he's a top coach.. Also I'm fairly sure we wouldn't do better at short notice, that manager would have to come in and work with players he hasn't selected and try to alter the ingrained tactics and that takes time. You could write the season off easily. ATM Farke give us the best shot at promotion

Two addendums

If we're mid table come December he probably needs to go and we try to reset a bit in Jan as season likely gone anyway
If we fail to go up this season then he's also gone an we get the summer to reboot but the odds of promotion drop anyway

Farke is much better than Marsch, who was much better than Christiansen. Don't forget I was with Orta in not sacking Marsch when we did, once we missed the December window, Marsch was always our best chance to stay up
