Re: RIP To Those Departed - Sol Bamba

Post by Muppet the Cat »

A few years ago (when with CCFC, under Neil Warnock) Sol, along with another couple of the players came into the primary school my wife was teaching in. Apparently he was a lovely bloke and great with the kids and staff alike.

RIP Sol

James Earl Jones has passed on.

Such a great actor. His first role was in Kubrick's masterpiece Dr. Strangelove some sixty years ago.

One of the few actors to win an Oscar, Grammy, Tony (Broadway), and Emmy (US television).

His last on screen appearance was filming his characters funeral/death in Coming 2 America.

Filmed separately from the rest of the cast as he didn't travel due to his advancing age but he insisted on taking part.

Amazing actor.
