6 Meslier - Nothing to do, didn't touch the ball with his hands until about the 40th minute.

7 Byram - Not as bad as some made Sam out to be. Did anyone realise he made six defensive headers? He should have played at Millwall, rarely lets us down.

7 Rodon - A comfortable afternoon for Joe.

6 Struijk - Not at his best, a few hairy moments

9 Bogle - 32 very good pieces of play. Jaiden was excellent, his best game in a Leeds shirt.

8 Tanaka - Ao actually made two sloppy passes, one almost suicidal, nevertheless another good game on his Leeds United

8 Rothwell - Another busy display from JR, plenty of lovely passes, I love the way he drives us forward.

8 Gnonto - Willy's best game in a while, needed to show a bit more composure on a couple of occasions.

8 Aaronson - My word, Brenden's endeavour is quite remarkable, showed some real quality his ten jinky runs, the shot that rattled the crossbar & three sublime passes. 26 very good moments in all.

6 Solomon - Struggling to show his PL quality

7 Joseph - A dozen decent moments in the first-half, faded in the second period.

Subs

7 Piroe for his wonderful goal

7 James - Three tackles, a couple of nice passes & fine cross.

7 Guilavogui - Produced 7 lovely moments in the few minutes Joshau was on the pitch.

n/a Schmidt - Looks a tidy acquisition.

Bogle & Rothwell were very good yesterday.
I recall Bogle being caught out in defence a couple of times and a shot outside the box went miles off target

I don't think 7 is high.

Yes, Sam was caught offside three times & he lost his man once, but there were some very good moments from our reserve RB playing out of his natural position.

6 defensive headers
4 nice passes
2 tackles
1 block
1 defensive clearance
1 attacking header just missing the target.

Bogle made 6 errors, only one defensive one,

You forget 32 of his very good moments, but you would of course!

Bogle would be eaten alive in the premiership so i hope we are looking at a big upgrade

You're entitled to your view but sorry your Joseph rating imo shows you favour certain players.

The 4 online ratings from different sources gave am average of 5.25

The ratings before yours was about the same.

What did Joseph do for a 7?

He was poor.

He barely involved.

Wasn't in the places he should be in the box.

Bullied far too often off the ball.

Lost 77% of his duels which is what people say he's good at and was the most dispossessed player on the pitch.

You clearly favour him :)

Jammy Jnr gave Bogle his motm even allowing for his lack of tracking back late on which was his one big error. Personally I gave it to Aaronson and thought he looked like he could have gone for another 90 mins at the end such are his energy levels.

Joseph is a bit like Bamford in that we look better when one of them is in the team. Enabling other players the space to shine is hard to quantify of course.

When Joseph has started we've played poorer teams.

All of the bottom 3

14th placed Norwich
15th placed Sheffield Wednesday
19th placed Hull
17th placed Coventry.

4 of the top 6 worst defences in the league, 5 of the top 8.

Burnley and WBA the only top half teams he's started against we lost to 1 and barely got past half way vs the other.

Don't get me wrong I rate him as a prospect but I think he gets a very easy ride.

That kinda proves my point :)

You've given his awful finish a positive.

What bad things did he do?

I gotta second cjay on that one. That shot was a poor moment from Joseph.

That's fair comment and you're right he probably does get cut more slack than any other player. However he's young and eager to learn so personally my view is he's very much worth persevering with as a starter. That said there are quite a few areas of his game which require improvement but if he can develop his understanding with our wide players then we'll hopefully see more close range goals like the one scored against Hull.

For me bringing Joseph through whilst still winning games and achieving promotion is all part and parcel of Farke's job. Last season Archie Gray was integrated, Summerville was provided with the platform to be the League's top scorer and Rutter seized the opportunities to shine. This time around Farke has to improve Joseph, Gnonto and Ramazani whilst also going one better and finishing in the top two.

I agree with 100% but he’s not alone there.
Firpo and Aaronson look a lot more at home in the Championship too.

He wasn't ... did very little wrong bar the booking and did some good things, lets not forget he's a right back playing left wing back

A full back and wing back are two completely different positions with different responsibilities
