They have so much high quality talent. Regardless of how many injuries or who is injured, they should not be in 6th place.

Btw Tanaka is the next Rodri. But don't tell anyone.

We fraudulently sold them the Yorkshire Pirlo. Let's not put such a label on Tanaka. At least not until after we get promoted.

How delusional were we to think Arne Slot would consider being the next Leeds manager

It was 2 years prior

We've got more chance of Pep Guardiola being our manager now

I know it's early doors, however the three victories over Southampton, Real Madrid & Citeh could be the decisive week of the season with regard to the fortunes of the scousers.

We fooled Pep. Current form showing he vastly overpaid.

Was a fantastic bit of business from us.
His current form will probably fetch less than a quarter of that.

Jack Grealish is the flop nobody talks about.

£100million.

God knows how many hundreds of thousands of pounds a week.

He hasn't scored a goal in almost exactly 12 months (December 16th last year)

He's cost Man City over £3million per goal or assist effectively.

One of the most expensive flops ever and it's hardly ever mentioned

He's been good for them in short periods. But too few and too short.

Admit he's looking very disappointing at the moment

Pep is failing to impress at the moment. Supposed to be the best coach in the world. Loses one player (Rodri) and the whole thing collapses. In fairness, he did say he could never do what Bielsa did.

The whole City thing stinks. I'd be glad to see the whole thing collapse.

Are you watching Piroe, Joseph, Rodon & Struijk.

Look how Arsenal players position themselves as opposed to our lot lumbering forward scratching their heads looking clueless!

I think you're being a little harsh on our Championship players, Leon. Yes, we can be wasteful in front of goal, but you are comparing apples with oranges; if our players were this good, they'd be playing for an established top 4 club like Arsenal. The gap between those elite clubs and even the top of the Championship is huge.

I agree Nick, the gap is huge, frightening imo!

I'm pretty sure our players watch Premier League football. Surely they can see how Arsenal & other PL clubs approach corners & football in general, as opposed to entering the penalty box looking like lost lambs.

In my early days of employment, I recall a manager saying to me WATCH & LEARN Leon, those words put me in good stead as I progressed onto having an excellent managerial career throughout my working life.

This is a fair point, but an inability to consistently replicate this is precisely why they are Championship players. The reality is that these players are certainly good enough in this league, but a fair few will not be able to step up. That's why I thought the comparison was a little harsh, there's no Mo Salahs in our squad. If only!

Oh how I wish!

We all want promotion, however next season could be an absolute nightmare. You only have to look at the likes of Southampton, Ipswich & Leicester, all struggling in the bottom five.

On the positive side, look how well Brighton, Bournemouth, Fulham, Brentford & Forest are holding their own in the PL.

I'll certainly have to acclimatize to losing more games than we win, even at Elland Road.
