Why the F do they have to get their money first is beyond me but what about mega rich farmers of which there are plenty. Should they pay their dues to support the ones that cant.
I think they should if they have millions in the bank then they can afford it.

Money in their business and personal accounts has already been taxed mate, it is their earnings.

Farmers are custodians, they only benefit if they sell the farm, but 99.9% of the time they pass the working farms on to family to continue so it makes no sense the size of the farm if tax has been paid.
This government want state run collectives running them and the small farms put out of business.

I wouldn't support the gov from charging you additional tax on your already taxed wages and savings although I might do now ha ha.

Read the link Brad.
I’m talking about the mega rich like James Dyson.
They are buying up land and pushing up the price steeply and are the loudest voice against the government for obvious reasons. The generation to generation farmers are collateral damage.
This is the problem with Labours policy.
Why do you think Dyson is buying up land although he probably isn’t now tbh.
Anyway I spend as much of the year as possible living from the produce in my garden as I prefer what I eat not to be caked in chemicals.

Yeah I know where you are coming from and that is blatant tax evasion on a totally different scale and how they get away with it is most likely offshore companies they own.

I have talked about the likes of Billionaires Dyson, Amazon, Apple before and they should be massively taxed, the loophole they all dive through is having their HQ's abroad while having lots of warehouse distributions centres all over the world so they only pay to that one select region, usually with loyalty benefits and tax breaks for doing so, Amazon use that EU Sarl thing, and profits fly into hedge funds that many MP's allegedly have shares in. Dyson moved his manufacturing and his HQ to Singapore.

Jacob Reece Mogg moved his businesses from UK to Eire and the tax he saved bought him a massive dwelling in Westminster and refurbished too among other estates he owns, you can bet most mega rich MPs do the same or have investments in hedge funds to save them taxs.

They are all corrupt.

Dyson stated this:
My family and I are farmers, not landowners. We have invested £120m, in addition to the cost of land, bringing long-term capital, technology and employment into British farming. Dyson Farming produced 70,000 tonnes of cereals and 16,000 tonnes of potatoes in 2022, plus out-of-season strawberries which avoid the food miles associated with imported alternatives. Our anaerobic digesters generate electricity for 10,000 homes, and the farms sequester more carbon than they emit.

British farmers need to be able to compete on a level playing field with those in Europe and further afield. Brexit provides the freedom to devise a subsidy regime which replaces the EU’s flawed CAP payments, and the government must now grasp that opportunity.
Sir James Dyson
Malmesbury, Wiltshire

Indeed it is sad. And worrying.
Supermarkets are not the only ones posting massive profits whilst people still struggle to pay bills. And water companies paying huge bonuses whilst pumping sewage in to the river system.
Of course back in the day we didn’t rely so heavily on supermarkets but hey now people want cheap food every minute of every day.

Hotels, Care homes, Stately homes and social housing full to capacity.
So the Home Office offer a £521Million contract on this.
This is spiralling way out of control at huge cost while they gaslight the public with answers to all tax grabs with this fabricated £22Billion black hole they inherited and offer no deterrent, just more money to throw at other countries.
Even Trump is taking up the Rwanda deal.

Labour will indeed leave a bigger hole in the economy.

Labour = Winning!!!

How many lefties are going to be offering a spare room at their gaff???

* I also find it suspicious when these illegal migrants have been reclassified as asylum seekers, this does 3 things.

1. Allows the ability to work.
2. Appears to remove the threat of an unidentified migrant.
3. It fast tracks claims and decreases the huge backlog of processing.

118,000 new asylum seekers = £4.43 Billion of tax payers money.

Meanwhile more will continue to arrive because of the pull factor that the UK offers.

Yup...

Chancellor Rachel 'Thieves' Reeves launched a crackdown on government waste then allowed a government department to spent almost £1,200 of taxpayers' money on two ministerial folders, official figures show.

The Department for Culture Media and Sport bought the folders from luxury leather goods manufacturer Barrow Hepburn & Gale, at a cost of £594 each.

Apparently leather-bound document holders are available in the House of Commons shop for £30.

Are there no 'bounds' to this idiotic Labour regime, they are all totally useless.

UK government for not getting to tax the high earners.
Footballers should pay PAYE as they only play for 1 team/employer at a time but no they all set up a company and pay reduced taxes. At 1 time i was paying MORE TAX than Wayne Rooney when he was playing and that is not right.
Leeds need a great summer 2026 with outgoings and incoming players
