How would our fans get to their sits from the bottom? It would be calamitous going up to seat prior kick-off & even worse at the end of the game when everyone is exiting at the same time.
The East Stand which holds 18,000, clears long before the kop does, in fact the whole stadium is virtually is empty by the time I leave the ground.
Public safety has come a long way since Hillsborough and Bradford, unfortunately however with older stadia like Elland Road there will always be extra risks involved.
It is one of the reasons why the idea of a new build is so attractive. Having extra room to move around is a win win situation for fan and owner alike as it keeps people safe and also allows them access to the food and drink concessions.
Realistically the East Stand too needs capacity reduced to bring it up to modern standards.

It is what it is. I don't really have any qualms about him. I think he's been the responsible head in the building - counter to Victor Orta.
I'm glad the 49ers kept him around for a while to help with the transition. But, it's been close to 2 years now and the 49ers will be happy to bring in their own man (or woman).

If he goes, and im not bothered one way or the other, and if we get promoted the 49ers will bring in someone good to replace himj.They have done well so far and i cant see a small issue like that causing them any sleepless nights.

I am a grumpy fecker who does not smile for the sake of it. It is hardly a crime. If he smiled a lot some would say he is hiding something.
I have no issues with the job he has done since relegation. But I doubt he will be missed by most. Any future poor decisions will fall at Farke’s feet - he is the eternal fall guy in waiting for some.
