The decision lies behind if Darlow can use his feet, if he's a liability or prone to a gaff with his feet and distribution then it's a dilemma for the boss which of them is more likely to make the c**k up.
Darlow with his feet.
Meslier with his catching.
Over to you Farke, there's quite a lot you can do, lighten the load on your keeper by the tactics etc, because if Meslier is between the sticks when the opponents get a corner, long throw in or free kick, we're all going to be behind the couch matey, and on the other hand we might be behind the couch all game if Darlow is there, only you know.

Its like its been going on for a 100 years.
Yeh crazy isn't it ? By which I mean who would suggest bringing in a player who's only played a few minutes all season for the vital 7 remaining games.

Karl Darlow anyone :)

We all love a bit of history repeating on here, what about Big Sam bringing on Robles for the last four games in the Premiership... that worked out well didn't it NOT!!?

Feels like we're going round in circles on the Meslier debate. Suspect he stays in the team...and Farke has made his bed. Either way if we don't go up Farke will be reviewed whether this is a meslier or Darlow decision. If action was going to be taken it should have been in Jan. We now dearly hope that we get to the goal we are aiming for.

We have the ability to do this!!

A lot comes down to not keeping the squad fresh and rotating.

There are been loads of time we could have bought Debayo, Chambers and Schmidt on when we were 2 or 3 up, but at this stage, its probably too risky.

I'd keep Mes in. He's got a mistake in him but he's better than Darlow.

If Farke sticks with Meslier its more out of being proven right than the poor form of the player
As a fan I find myself holding my breath when a cross comes in.... Corners are equally stressful but we accept that
its ok to play badly and not be dropped. Our standards are low when we applaud Mes to stop a simple shot or catch a simple ball.
It is his job to do the basics. Karl Darlow is a much better option and here is why..........Karl Darlow is a Welsh international goalkeeper that has a good knowledge of all the Welsh players in the current Leeds side, he is not perfect and can make mistakes but at crucial times I'd rather have him in goal than the French Hologram. Why do we all make so many excuses and defend Meslier when the facts speak for themselves. At the weekend we travel to Luton and then Boro away, two key games. We need the best possible 11 players on the park and Meslier shouldn't be anywhere near the starting line up imo.

That was enforced rather than a selection decision if I recall.

Its true but the change worked, Kiko had lost the confidence of most about everyone and we never looked to him again.

Again you are doubling down on your own theory that the players are fatigued, and to believe that we would have as many points on the board if we had been playing Debayo and Chambers would be funny only it is ridiculous.

Chambers has zero goals and one assist at Pl 2 level and somehow you believe that he is at this level...

We are being outwitted tactically and as a result have dropped points.

I dont think the keeping was the issue when that happened.

The team had given up by the time Xavi was fired.

Yes but that change was enforced and we’d have gone up with either in goal.

The greater problem that might be created is bringing in Darlow, who has a shocker. What do you do then ?

We had this discussion after Sunderland and Hull and he kept faith in Mes. Hopefully he can go on a run of 7 games as he has done previously without any major issues. Up front is the bigger issue for me. Piroe is going through a barren spell and Solomon and James are struggling in comparison to their output in February.

Joseph’s fresh legs have given us nothing all season long, albeit many from the bench.
Never been a fan of Meslier but Farke not changing anything there.
Biggest problem is the drop off in form of the 2 wide men.
Having said all above even a decent performance should win 3 of the 4 away games.
At lease the bookies have confidence in us!!!!!!!

It could work but its a sign of extreme desperation to think it might. Extreme desperation mixed with hoping against hope mixed with shut your eyes & pray.

Mes is all we have realistically so we have to stick with him unfortunately.
Joseph isn't the answer he's not good enough but Gnonto instead of James 👍

I'm not criticising James by the way he just looks knackered.

Bamford,I don't think so,he'd need 7 games to get even close to match fitness and he'd still need 20 chances to put 1 away.
