Can these linesman/officials be demoted or sacked for acts of gross stupidity or are they immune.

Bielsa found a way to include an ageing Pablo because he needed his creativity more than a "ratter".
Except when Pablo kicked over a water bottle and was put in the ice box.

Bielsa did not tolerate any insubordination as Pontus found out.

They can be, and should be, this is LUFC we are talking about here, so probably either goes unpunished or gets promoted to PL status.

It was Darren Williams and who was the other fool?
Wondered if he had any history with us.

If he hasn’t maybe he’d like to create some if he gets another game before the end of the season 😉

Before last night I just put it down to useless officials but after those 2 offsides I was seriously doubting their integrity. Maybe having been reprimanded for previous bad calls against Leeds he decided to double down & hope Boro beat us.

The authorities will listen to Warnock. One thing they can't do is fine him unlike if Farke made the comments

Yeah. I don't think our injury list is that bad. Other teams have to deal with it

Yesterday, we had a bench full of senior players. Not one was a youngster.

Other teams would be getting more out of Schmidt and Ramazani. Up to Farke to make the most of the quality back up he has.

Gnonto has to be the obvious choice

I'm sure they're all ranked internally. And that influences what games they officiate in future. Trouble is there probably isn't enough quality out there.

Top man is Neil...
I'm really annoyed with myself that I didnt go and see his show in Ipswich last year. I'm sure he would have been brilliant.

You are correct Leon, Farke wouldn't have got away with that, hopefully Warnock will make his voice heard.

And people hate VAR. But it would’ve corrected those errors.
What if we fail to get promoted and the difference is a goal or two. Multi millions on these mistakes potentially. Incredibly backward sport considering the sums of money involved.

Shaun Hudson was the other herbert on the touchline, 20 hrs have passed since those 2 glaring errors, still we wait for a reasoned response.
If one of our players did a terrible challenge and it was "overlooked", you can bet within 20 hrs the FL would have took appropriate action.
Is the FL in cahoots with 2 tier kier !

Some of the var officials are just as bad as the match officials, I'd much rather leave those decisions to the onfield ones, they go both for and against you, besides if we ended up having to pick through dropped points we'd be looking a lot closer to home at our own players for who and how we dropped them......

Var ruins everything from a match experience and it was only introduced for 2 reasons....1: find a reason to disallow a goal 2: find a reason to give a penalty

VAR works efficiently in Super League Rugby, but everything does & cheating is unacceptable in that well run sport, not the case with football.

Hell of a lot of decisions go against us though.
And if no VAR then a much higher standard of officiating is needed. It’s amateurish and embarrassing tbh.
The gateway to the so called Promised Land afterall

Works more or less perfectly in Union too.
Same with the cheating side of things. It’s endemic in football.
