To put things in perspective....

Burnley scored the second-most goals in the league this year, conceded only sixteen times in 46 games (fourteen fewer than the next best side), never allowed more than one goal in any league game, went the last six months of the season without losing and lost only twice all season. They averaged more than one goal per game over their opponents and became only the 7th team in Championship history to amass 100 points in a single campaign.

A truly historic season.

On a side note. I am so glad our fate wasn’t decided at Plymouth today. This was a banana skin the day the fixtures came out 8 months ago.

Would have been much more nerve-wracking. if we needed a victory for automatic promotion.
