As a Toon fan, my early prediction

Post by Spotty »

For where you will finish. I think you'll buck the trend for promoted sides being relegated. I think you finishing 15th is perfectly "doable)". I subscribe to the "at some point things will change). Presumptuous I know but I suspect you guys would accept that outcome. ?
City to win it (I know boring)
Relegated (Mackums, Burnley and Everton)

I think we'll finish 5th.

Welcome back Spotty.

I'd take 15th place now.

Would love to see Everton go down in their shiny new stadium.

Top 5 for your boys looking good.

We are linked with every Tom, Dick & Harry right now, including Nick Pope & Sean Longstaff, both have bags of PL experience. Would they be decent signings for Leeds in your opinion?

Really don't see Everton going down ...who finishes 16th in the above scenario?

Too early to tell atm but gut feeling I think we’ll survive (one or two above the relegation places whatever place that is)

Edit: just checked, 16th or 17th.

Nor do I, now David Moyes is back there in charge.

We need some managerial/players disruption at one or two of the established PL clubs, hopefully that would help our cause!

Wolves now that Cunha has left and talk of Ait Nouri going to City. Wish West Ham would sell Jarod Bowen and they could be down there as well.

Yes, rock steady. Longstaff gives 100 per cent every game and will love playing at ER. Popes not very good with his feet but he's an excellent shot stopper. They are just the type of signings you will need to settle the ship. So it's a yes, they would be good signings.

Wolves have the dosh to spend with the sale of Cunha.

I'd like the managers of Brentford, Brighton and Bournemouth to jump ship. Could be interesting.

Won’t be easy to replace Cunha although Strand Larsen had a cracking end to the season. Wonder if they’d fancy buying Paddy.

I would hope we could get a creative midfielder rather than a player like Longstaff. I think we have players who can do the hard graft for us in the team already, but we need that player who can put his foot on the ball and make things happen.

His work with the ball at his feet was my only concern with Pope. Thanks for two cents, Spotty.

At this early stage, Supercomputer 'Grok' predicting Leeds to finish 16th, with Bottom 4 being Palace, Wolves, Burnley and Sunderland

Leeds on 42 points. minus 12 goal difference

Grok is a far right adjacent Supercomputer run by neo Nazi Elon Musk... it has been programmed to not take into consideration DEI and is therefore very biased in its predictions. Now if the BBC or the Guardian had a supercomputer that would be a different story... moderate and balanced.
