Get real mate.
We spent £11mil on Ramazani and he barely started, Farke isn't that predictable.

Whoever we sign I've total confidence in Piroe.

So im thinking one more player at this point?

All out for a striker with perhaps a few bob held back for January
2 atleast

Paixao and striker.

Expect more though with a sale or two? Harrison hopefully, Bamford/Joseph probably and maybe Struijk?

Mr Moylan of SquareBall Fame has said he's been told 4 more.

Full back and 10 as well

Farke insisted in his post-match interview, we require a few more signings if we are to compete in the Premier League.

I'm good with Piroe and Nmecha plus Joseph as our strikers, especially as I don't rate Muniz very highly atm. I'll be very worried if we don't sign a proper 10..

Piroe is worthy of a place in our squad & starts if required.

Ramazani didn't start after his injury & loss of form as a consequence, also we had a PL winger in Solomon at our disposal.

Joseph ahead of Muniz who has scored 17 goals in the Premier League.

I thought Paixao would be a the striker??

But yeah it will depend on who we move on....

There is Harrison who I dont think Farke has decided on yet ( but would prefer he didnt have to)
Bamford we know ( although knowing the way his Leeds career has developed I think he may end up featuring as Farke didnt know about Josephs stance when he went public over Bamford)

Then there is Joffy, Greenwood, Gyabi to move on.

Had we signed the keeper by then?

Few could be two haha

I wouldn't pay for Muniz, is my point.

Cjay wrote: ↑Sun Jul 27, 2025 5:10 pm As a newly promoted club we aren't going to be able to sign perfect players and have a great squad.

The importance of the manager and his coaching and tactics is far more vital than it was last season imo.

It's upto Farke to fill the quality issues we have.
The main concern should be not conceding more than one goal a game. Not in every game of course because that's unrealistic but if we concede too many then relegation will almost certainly happen.

Regarding Farke he needs the tools and so far I'm less than impressed with the players we've signed, although not seen the goalkeeper yet. For example our new centre back and left back look great on paper but there has to be question marks about them even though they've played top flight football elsewhere.

Nmecha needs to sharpen up, he won't get the space or amount of time against Prem defenders.
Poor defending at times but I think we took our foot off the gas and let them get possession.
Only a friendly so nothing to be concerned about

No player did better in his minutes than Ramazani tbf.

Regardless an £11mil signing would expect to start regularly in a Championship team.

No guarantee a striker would either.

Yes we had.

I reckon he wants at least four more to bolster up the squad, especially as there will be five or six departures.

Paixao is a winger.

They want Muniz as a striker but Fulham refusing to sell.

Much work to do still on incoming and outgoing though.

Joffy and Co as well surely get moved on?

Solomon was a main contributor to us winning the title last season, a classy performer.

Surely those comments would apply to almost any player?

Lets recall the odds are stacked against every promoted club now.
What level of player would you realistically expect us to be able to recruit at this point?

Like you I'm concerned we conceded at all against German lower league cannon fodder.

Again though it's on Farke to find a way to play? A different way and be better off the ball as we won't dominate it like we did.

I agree on the signings in the sense not blown away by most of them, many of them squad players before generally but we don't have £50mil a player to sign top proven players so for me the emphasis is on Farke to make a team more than the sum of its parts.

That Is really the only way you survive as most newly promoted sides will still be talent wise one of the bottom 4 or 5 weakest.

I hope we see 2 or 3 Real topquality signings soon, hopefully unearth a Raph.

And our maybe underwhelming signings become bargains.

True he was excellent but there's no guarantee he'd be anywhere near as effective in the PL.

Would still like to find out though and whilst wearing a Leeds shirt.

Not disagreeing

Just saying on paper most would have expected Ramazani to start far more than he did
