I feel he has enough without bad luck and injuries and yes we are winging it somewhat.
We are ok on that. Don't think it includes homegrown players

What are we all angry at today?

Genocide in Gaza?
Trump still breathing?
The cost of a pint these days?

Surely you should have posted before the debate was put up. Wait a minute perhaps I have watched Inception without understanding the actual plot line.

It is my understanding that okafor can play across the front 3 positions. Whilst some may prefer a positional specialist it does add additional flexibility to the squad if an injury crisis occurs.

There have been a few players signed that are able to play multiple positions and that is not a bad strategy to maintain the goal of survival. Which, as I understand it is the primary objective for this season. Stay up and we should be able to add a couple of quality players next season, which kicks off the progressional squad build.

Similar wages to what DCL was asking for at Everton apparently (150k a week).

I doubt his demands dropped much.

Know who I'd prefer.

I doubt he will want a bumper wage, he is not going to attract a high salary unless he gets a Saudi contract offer. He is way past his prime.
He does not fit the model of the squad / transfer strategy. Whilst he may have maintained his technical prowess his back legs have gone. To play him Farke may have to sacrifice a tactical principle, he does not strike me as the type to do so.

The squad lists must follow certain rules. Each club's squad must contain no more than 17 players who do not fulfil the "Home Grown Player" (HGP) criteria. The rest of the squad, up to a total of 25 players, must be "Home Grown"

Probably the reason we kept Byram, Cairns. Gray and Chambers obviously homegrown

Hopefully this is what could happen DDB, some partnerships yet unknown could quite easily develop, they could unearth in training or matches going forward, who is Willy going to gel with etc Okafor Dcl and all.
A few of ours can play multiple positions yes, hopefully it's why the gaffer and his team have signed such, i feel it is, not hard to work out how many we have that can play offense, I think even DJ started off for Farke on the left wing when he first came and we were needing him there?

Well there you go again then with another reason for limited buy in's and out's.
It's a fine juggling act unless you're Chelsea who have gone with £billions in long contracts, some 10 year i believe, I personally detest 'cash' clubs and would love to see cards come crashing down if they could there

That last line from John Newsome says it all. There a few on here who likely think he is wrong. Afterall how could he possibly have a better understanding than a fan who has won the treble on Championship manager.

So can Nmecha, So can Gnonto. Bielsa and Everton played Jack right, left and the 10. Bielsa used James as a 10 so he can also play 3/4 positions. We weren't short of utility forwards..
