I honestly never had any problem with Kenny.

Sure, he was a bit brash and loud at times, but he was a prolific poster and was always involved in debates.

I still find the ban of Kenny wrong. Everyone is capable of redemption and his new non de plumes were rather polite in comparison to his previous account. I accept his previous bad behaviour / DM’s were the main factor and suspect that two many sniffs of the sherry bottle were the probable cause.

However, he provides insightful posts, which help balance the often morose, narcissistic I told you so, kneejerk and attention seeking posts that are a frequent occurrence.

He could also write a few lucid paragraphs which were upbeat and positive, instead of the usual negative one solitary sentence.

That is enough to upset alot of people. This is a local bulletin board we will have no positivity here.

In fairness I think it was 2 buses within a minute of each other and failing that the first one would reverse over me. You cant do more really can you.

When i started this forum he was the standout member who was always annoying and rude, and i remember thinking god we could do without his sort on here. As time went on i sort of grew to like him as i didnt take what he said seriously. And he was quite funny at times.
I think most forum members realized it was him back under a new name ( could well come back with yet another name ) but he wasnt unpleasant this time, and i personally dont think he deserved to be banned again. But rules are rules and we have to abide by them, like them or not.
I have seen and read other members being using swear words to other members of this forum just because they didnt like a particular reply to something.

Well now it seems to me that this statement is following the trend on here of late - it is as broad as it is long! There is very little detail there for the reader for Goodness sake. I mean are we talking single or double decker busses? Country or City buses? Electric, petrol or diesel? Sunday or Weekday service? Complete lack of any information on the drivers experience and age etc.,

Can't make head or tail of it TBH

Every writer has theiir own style anorwl, was that how Kenny spiced up his text, also engaging with people and asking their opinion, especially to the regular contributers and to the newcomers there would always be a question about Bert.

Just as you could take a rough guess that a poem could be written by Bukowski because of the verbal ticks, or even the formatting styles of Cjay... short sentences seperated by blank lines, jokes and word play by Jaydog and Weasel (why on earth have they not tried to get each other banned beggers believe... perhaps they know something about tolerance). You don't need to be a rocket scientist to recognise a style of writing.

Personally I think most people know my own forte is to write surreal balderdash and drivel expressing an alternative outlook on the prevailing narrative.

I weirdly was never on the receiving end of his pm threats but given how he was on the message board you can imagine how much worse he got in pm.

Given how rare permanent bans are on here we can imagine it got quite bad.

I never had a problem with him to be honest, in fact, we got on quite well. I think he even said he would like to go for a pint with me sometime, although he never said he was paying.

I’m good mates with one of the mods on this site, you really couldn’t meet a nicer bloke, and I imagine all the other Mods are similar. To be receiving personal abuse isn’t on.

That is the thing where I don't really have much sympathy for people in the public limelight who complain about getting abusive messages. If someone sent me an abusive message I would simply laugh at the stupidity of it or ignore it. Same as if anyone on here sent me an abusive message, you don't actually know me and your 'insult' is meaningless - and it was fricking cold that day.

Especially so on here where apparently there is the option to ignore someone and if they were to send you a direct message simply don't open it.

Heck though I got banned for suggesting an Everton fan was an Everton fan. In hindsight I do regret my actions as I now realise that calling someone an Everton fan is about the worst thing you can do.

There have been several people who have been banned and tried to come back... They all get banned again.... These last 2 personas were the 3rd and 4th of Kenny, and I know that there is another one, but can't remember the name as it has been dormant for a while...

Yes when not being agressive and threatening, some of his posts are very good, but think back to his Trigger persona, he was very lucid and thought provoking right until he turned nasty when he was outed..... Look it up, it's not that long ago.....

So how many chances does he get?? just because he hasn't offended you personally should he be allowed to keep coming back??

If any of you don't like the way us mods run the site.... You are more than welcome to ask Adam to be considered as a mod yourself.. But bear in mind... you don't get paid, and it can take a lot of time...
