Madness favourites I'd have to say The Prince, Bed and Breakfast Man, One Step Beyond...and also the later Ghost Train. That might be my favourite altogether

How can anyone not listen to a Madness album without smiling
Ok there are failings musically but the overall package is a journey of fun
Times we will never get back, its all very much the same these days.
Your favourite track please? So many to choose from?
By the way who remembers a certain make of jacket we all used to wear.
Feck.. we are old ???
Loved Madness Mm, had the jacket and the crombie and Embarrassment was my favourite track. Probably the best times in my life without mobile phones and all the stih they bring. Even looking back now I have a smile on my face at the innocence of it all before the world fell apart. Strange but we were out tonight with friends and as usual the conversation moved onto music & we ended up discussing the Ska era ( cue the Twilight Zone music )
Thanks for bringing back the memories mate.

I've got a bit of a project on the go. Seeing as you're a big Beatles fan i wondered what you'd think of this.

Let's imagine the Beatles released 1 more album after Let it be.

Going by the Beatles' solo releases from 1970/71, which songs would make it onto this final Beatles album?

1970
McCartney. (Paul McCartney))
John Lennon & The plastic ono band. (John Lennon)
All things must pass. (George Harrison)
Beaucoups of blues. (Ringo Starr)

1971
Ram. (Paul McCartney)
Imagine. (John Lennon)

How many songs would be on this 'final' Beatles album? 7 songs each side maybe?

I'll await your response,mate. 8-)

Nice project, Rook.

As I adore Harrison's All Things Must Pass', five of the fourteen songs would have to be from this album.

Never got into the Ringo album.

Also, as a marketing man, I would include the big hits which would sell millions of the album.

Side 1
My Sweet Lord
Every Night
Love
Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey
Wah Wah
Isn't A Pity
Jealous Guy

Side 2
Imagine
Maybe I'm Amazed
Mother
Working Class Hero
How Do You Sleep?
If Not For You
What Is Life

What Is Life.
Wah Wah.
Junk.
Oh My Love.
My Sweet Lord.

Side 2

Crippled Inside.
The Backseat Of My Car.
Jealous Guy.
Let It Down.
Maybe I'm Amazed.
All Things Must Pass.
Imagine.
