Today, I have no doubt we had the worst front three in the Premier League.

Had Okafor been available, we'd had likely been more productive.

You're quite a delicate flower. Please do place it there if it helps. A grave digger, indeed, it's quite a noble profession as for yourself, part of the Krishna brigade.

I accept it was a poor pass, but we were trying to force it looking for an equaliser.

Whilst it was a good strike I thought Darlow could have done better than he did. Those are the types of saves that keep a team in a game and can turn the tide. We are just missing those movements of inspiration for me.
It always seems Pascal is in involved in every goal we've conceded of late. He was ball-watching, marking fresh air for both goals.

Fans were targeting Darlow for the two Spurs goals scored, not the defender who didn't make an effective block, because he is too slow to react. Darlow had no chance with that strike today.

But cracks are starting to show, we don’t have the squad to mix things up much at this point, and we ain’t getting much return out of December.
Harrison should never ever be a starter.
I never saw this game as penalty kick unlike some.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) Farke will be gone at some point and our record at bringing in a mid season manager is questionable at the least.

He has, stinker today but so did Rodon, god knows what he was thinking for the first. Great observation from NFL stats this week saying taking stats at face value is difficult as you don't know what the coach has asked for in training. Maybe he asked the player to jump routes and not worry about blowing coverage. Hence we don't know what Farke asks for, maybe he's said don't jump in/close down, make them shoot from distance...

He made them shoot from distance.
It was an after you Claude moment.
A great finish but still.

He was in our first five games.

I really hope if Pascal continues to start, he proves me wrong.

West Ham takes on greater importance given the fixtures we have coming up.

Despite the positives performances I Hope these dropped points don't become an issue.

And conceding 1st in 6 of 8 games is not a habit we want to continue either.
Dropped points will always become an issue.
Must be 3 or 4 so far.

First off game for Pascal, but same could be said of a few players. He wasn't the worst out there. Darlow held his place off the back of a couple of dodgy performances, so Pascal deserves to stay starting. Unsure he will though

I'm not sure we deseve more points than we have. Having a lot of ineffective possession is not a reason to say we lost points. We don't create many clean chances and those we do we're not finishing well, which is player quality.

Very much agree.

Separately, in my opinion, a big problem is with the wingers. They've always been key to the way we've played the last few years - Gnonto and Summerville first season, James and solomon last year, and we've been regularly far weaker in this area in terms of player quality this season than the last two years in the Championship. Okafor has actually looked alright, but we really needed to strengthen in this area (James being injured hasn't helped but we also know he doesn't regularly score/assist in the prem). A lot of the time we get the ball out wide and end up just putting a hopefuly cross into the box since we don't have the quality required out wide.

Playing aaronson on the right is criminal. Playing harrison AND aaronson as our wide players is ridiculous - but also somewhat forced by the injury situation, but also by our lack of investment in these areas.

Nmecha is more winger than striker imo, he has both on his CV. Maybe he should have started as such on the right, fairly combative too

There's enough from that game to give us plenty of discussion in the Poll of the Day topics over the next week. :-D

I'm surprised that option wasn't considered.

No, he wasn't the only one, so many poor individual performances.

Personally, I think the 2nd goal was saveable. Darlow reacted two slow for me. I agree it was well struck but it was 25 yards out. If pretty much went directly over the top of him. I hope Perri is better, Darlow is decent and has his strengths, he gets down quick, but there is a reason he has been a No2 for a significant part of his career.

I know if results become hard to come by then Farke will be gone, that’s the way of things but I just don’t see the point in doing it, look at Southampton and Leicester last year, brought in shitty replacements who were sacked at the end of the season. If it’s to happen then go down with dignity and have Farke take us back up then decide what to do.

Very tough to change manager mid season, especially as we had a poor summer adding talent. No pre season, the players may not fit a new system, etc.

70% possession and x3 times as many shots as Burnley but hardly any if any on target. Why do we always have strikers who couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo ? This needs to improve rapidly or it will be too late.
