Acetone's York Blvd is ever present in the car, great late night driving music
Portishead's Roseland, so I don't have to choose between Dummy and the debut. Best of both worlds and stunning live anyway

Going a bit here with the Manic Street Preachers. Maybe a bit of a Marmite band (certainly I know SH has no time for them at all) but up there as one of my favourites…….although I rate The Holy Bible (which on many threads is rated as their best album), as one of their worst…….I prefer the post Richey Edwards output.

Anyhow my three favourite, with three best (imo) tracks from each album:

You've recommended some cracking albums to me in the past, I'll give Chat Pile & Hayden Pedigo a listen.

[The Subhuman]

Chat Pile is maybe the worst name for a band I've ever seen. I'm not a fan of noise/sludge metal, especially crossed with Americana as in the above two tracks but Rains would probably enjoy those

Album of the year is probably Fairyland Codex by TFS, but Soft Hearted Scientists - Phantom of the Canyon might steal it. If you like that 60 Kinks/Traffic/Gong Psychedelia then it's worth a listen
